For me, to make the distance actually count in Pokémon go, I had to turn off the setting that made it so my phone would keep turning on out of sleep mode when the phone screen was moved. You can do so in the display and brightness settings (for iPhone). You also need to make sure that your phone isn't fully shut off and that Pokémon Go IS NOT running in the background because it will interfere with the adventure sync. When I first used it, it counted my steps, but I didn't end up logging correctly. I felt it was because my phone kept turning on and off. After I turned off that setting I left it on the machine for about 20 minuets and it ended up logging nearly 3km!!! Other than that issue, this device definitely works. It is extremely quiet so I will be running it over night to see how much distance I go.

This a great way to get those extra steps, as a parent and someone that works hard labor it’s not easy to go for walks after work or on weekends this little gadget here helps me hatch those eggs when I need the few miles to complete. It’s worth the money just be careful not to overdo it because you might get band. 2 miles a day is my recommendation.

Very happy with my purchase! It definitely does what I bought it for haha. Very durable; I threw it in my work backpack and thought I accidentally broke it.. but NOPE! It was just the pieces coming out of place (again it was in my pack). Love it and highly recommend

the machine only swing the phone alway . i use more than 12 hours for it for nothing.the pokemon got only 1 candy . if i take the phone walk in home still got more than 3 candy. under the hours! it just waste the battery and time !! and the money !! don't buy it !

Doesn't seem to work for me. Have all the settings correct and even tried phone upside like mentioned before however doesn't count steps. Ordered a couple of months ago. Have tried plenty of times since delivery however doesn't seem to work for me.

Phone doesn't actually register any steps with it so totally pointless and will be returning

Work great for a time then nope! No more steps counted. The latest one lasted 2 weeks now no eggs hatching

It took 30 mins to hatch an egg which would have taken 2-3 hrs :)
