So happy with my first Buck
It feels great and weighty in my hand even though it's narrow, feels like a knife I shouldn't carry but its mostly legal in my state (blade is 3/4ths of an inch longer than the legal limit in michigan wich is 3) can't stop flipping it open over and over again, not to mention its razor sharp out of the box, in fact it's still currently the sharpest knife I've ever owned

Good quality
Great knife. I have many knives and always carry one, it's a tool. This one is low profile and deploys instantly. Great for all occasions such as every day carry and dress clothes. Not a dainty knife and not too cumbersome.

Big handed easy to use knife
The pocket clip screws fell out and had to order replacements to locktite in. I carry it every day now, great fit and feel for xl hands, very smooth and easy to use and the blade is a good quality steel staying sharp.

Great alternative to the CEO
This knife is a little bit bigger than the CEO yet it's still in the same overall profile for a light useful EDC gentleman's knife. Hard to explain, you would think being larger is a downside compared to the CEO yet it's not large enough to be a downside, it pushes the envelope there. Surprisingly small and light, cannot believe how large most knives I used to carry around were until I got this. The fact it's a little bit bigger does make it slightly more comfortable when using it yet it doesn't negate it's purpose for being small and light enough to be a breeze to keep in your pocket all day. The black variant can be billed as a folding letter opener and people are likely to believe you, yet it's also got more blade than those oldtimer knives your grandpa used to carry around. The frame lock is easier to unlock than the CEO by a long shot. The blade is a decent enough stainless steel and the price is very fair. The handles are smooth yet your fingers can grip them a little, sort of like a premium pen I have laying around. Paying around $36 for this knife that is in some ways better than the CEO which goes for $45-50 pending variant makes this choice easy.If you are debating slim gentleman's knives like I had to for a while I would use my experience to tell you to just go with this. The cheaper options I tried usually have something major wrong, like a weak lock-up or hard to deploy or hard to retract. The Decatur is an extremely solid choice that is better than the cheaper alternatives and competes directly with the more expensive ones. It's the cheapest you can go without sacrificing anything and has a major name brand behind it.

Not impressed
Pocket clip randomly broke after a month. Knife itself is nice, but the pocket clip definitely needs to be more substantial

Difficult to flip open, made in China
This is an OK knife. Sturdy with a good grip. Flipping it open is tough on the fingers. It is stubborn to open and has been right out of the box. If Buck still made their knives in the USA where they used to, I would expect higher quality. Oh well, it wasn't very expensive and I have a few better pocket knives to carry.
