Excellent Natural Pomade — Clean Ingredients, Great Hold Brickell really got this one right. This wax pomade gives me exactly what I need: the finish is natural with just the right amount of shine, so my hair looks healthy, not greasy. What stands out the most is the clean formula. I have sensitive skin, and most hair products eventually cause irritation, but this one has been completely problem-free. The scent is subtle and refreshing, not loud or artificial. I ride my bike to the office, so it's difficult to find a styling product that can recover from "helmet hair." I'd never tried a wax-based product before, so I took Brickell Wax Pomade for a spin. In short, I couldn't be happier with the results—I really like the shine, the light scent, and how it keeps my 'do' in check, even after removing my helmet. Because this pomade is flexible and sturdy, a quick comb with my fingers restores my style. I also appreciate how it makes my hair shiny, soft, and seemingly fuller—something other pomades I've tried fail to achieve. A small amount for each application does the trick, and it's clear the jar will last a long time. Beeswax and castor oil ingredients not only provide excellent hold but I can imagine are nourishing my hair and scalp. Overall, this is a great pomade whether you wear a helmet or not; it’s become an essential part of my grooming routine.

I’m a big fan of Brickell products, so I thought I’d branch out from their facial skin care products and try their pomade. I’m happy with the product this far. My hair is wavy and a bit unruly, so styling products usually are presented with a bit of a challenge when trying to tame my hair. I thought Brickell does a good job with their pomade relative to the price point - I find the pomade performs as expected for a low $20s product, which is superior to some of the styling products that are half the price. I actually was a bit surprised with how well the pomade held, as I just wasn’t sure how a primarily skin care company would do creating a hair styling product. But they did a great job! Holds well, and I really enjoy the scent - a big, unexpected positive. I find I have to add in a bit of product along my part line after the initial application, but that’s nothing new for my hair type. I also really like the shine and color that comes from the pomade. Not too shiny but really adds something after working in the product. And of course the natural/organic elements make me feel good, always kind of accepted that hair products would be chemically but now I’m in the frame of mind that they don’t have to be with this product. Positively surprised!

This is the best gel/paste/pomade product I've used for my hair, which is thick. I like it because it keeps my hair in place without making my hair look like I combed it with grease. It doesn't look wet but has a slight shine, making my hair look healthy. I have several other gel/paste/pomade options that I use once in a while, but this one is my go-to. The price is competitive with or in some cases even cheaper that the competing products I've tried, so it is a no-brainer for this to be my daily use pomade. While the hold lasts all day, it doesn't make my hair hard like some gels, so my hair still feels soft and looks natural. Note that if you do mess up your hair after applying this pomade you may need to apply some more to get it back the way you want it. I keep one at home and carry one with me in my EDC bag in case I need to apply a little more. Highly Reccomend

This pomade really surprised me—not because of its hold, but because of how flexible it is. When I first opened the container, I expected a stiff wax that would lock my hair into place. This was my first time using this product and it was my FAVORITE hair product that I've every used. At first I was surprised how small the tub was, but just a little bit goes a long way. As someone with curly hair I've had a hard time finding a product that works for me. This pomade has an AMAZING hold. I love to drive with the windows down and my hair doesn't get messed up from the wind. Even if my hair gets a little messed up, I can just slightly wet my hair and restyle my hair. The pomade also keeps my hair moisturized very well and helps with frizzy hair. I also like the fact that the scent of it isn't really strong like other products I have used in the past since I get headaches from heavily scented products. Another plus is that it's made from natural and organic ingredients so I don't have to worry about forgetting about washing it out at night and hair loss from random chemicals/ingredients.

I'd previously purchased a different product by Brickell, and since I liked it, I thought that I'd give their Wax Pomade a try. As I opened the Amazon box I saw a tiny little tub in the corner with a sticker on the lid talking about FREE samples. Wow, I thought to myself, they've given me a free sample of one of their other products. Unfortunately, upon closer inspection, I discovered that the tiny tiny pot, that somewhat reminded me of women's lip balm, WAS my product! I'd just paid MORE than $20 for the smallest tub of hair product I'd ever owned. Ouch! Now at the end of the day, the description on the website is very clear, it does say 2oz, and I should have noticed. But in all the years I have purchased hair products, most of the wax/pomade/clay type of products seem to be sold in fairly standard sizes. In the 3-5oz range. So the thought never occurred to me that this company would offer so little for so much. In fact, as of right now, the number one top rated pomade on Amazon, with over 700 reviews and a five star rating, costs $2.50 an oz. Whereas this product is selling for $11.50 an oz. Will my hair look 5X better with one vs the other? I somehow doubt it. This is good hair product, and I'd like to buy it again. But considering the cost of packaging, shipping, packing materials, and logistics, you'd think they could squeeze a little bit more actual product into a slightly larger container? Unfortunately, despite this being a good product (hence 2 stars rather than one), I find myself so disappointed with the stingy serving, that I will continue my quest to find my next go-to hair product, with another company. I don't mind paying extra for quality. But this is not Tom Ford or Creed here; this fledgeling company isn't even five years old. This is some ridiculously expensive hair wax. And there are plenty of other companies that make competent hair product that are not going to charge me an arm and a leg for what looks like a free sample pot. In fact, writing this review has annoyed me so much, I'm going to take off a star. Down to one.

First time using this product and I’m really happy with it. It gives a nice flexible hold to wavy hair which lasts the whole day and smells great. Will be buying it again.

By far my favorite product to hold my hair in place. Doesn't make your hair overly glossy or glisten, leaving it with a more natural look. Also not strongly scented, which I prefer.

Works very well for me, only need a little bit - a little goes a long way. it is light and holds well, I hardly notice it's there. Have just reordered a second one for myself so I don't run out!
