Sturdy for wood chips
I shovel a lot of wood chips and seem to destroy a couple aluminum scoop shovels a year. I decided to spend the extra money for this one. I waited to review until I had a chance to unload about a dozen truck loads of chips. I am happy to say it is holding up. You can see some flex if the chips are wet but I did not feel like it was going to crack or snap. The only reason it is not a 5 is because it is a little smaller than the aluminum shovels. I estimate about 3 scoops from an aluminum shovel equals 4 scoops from this shovel. Another thing to be aware of is that it is a softer material. I hit a bolt head under the chips when taking a scoop and it put a scratch down the bottom. If you are running this over jagged or uneven metal it will probably not hold up as well as an aluminum shovel.

Works
I bought this shovel for the snow on my new composite deck. I did not want metal to scratch the deck and so far with our first snow fall going out to the hot tub was easy with this shovel. I know a lot of people buy this for food stuff but, it works great for the snow!

Great shovel @ $17
I purchase this shovel in Oct 2016. I chopped it up to make a sand shovel used with my metal detectors to search beaches. The shovel has met all of my expectations so far. The fact is that I paid $17.05. I am writing this review at the end of Nov 2016 and the price is $46.00. At $17.00 this is a GREAT shovel!I suspect that I was lucky and someone made a mistake and entered the "cost" of $17 instead of the sell price of $46.Wish I ordered 2.Bottom line is $46 is in line with other "food grade" shovels. You should check yourselfIf you do not need "food grade" to shovel snow or sift sand there are less expensive solutions available. The only con for me is I wish the sides were a bit steeper for my application. If you found this review helpful and you think others might benefit please click "Yes"

I liked this shovel but didn't keep it
I decided the handle was too short for my needs. I wanted to use this as a non rusting snow shovel on my new cement stairs. It looked like it would be sturdy enough for that and many other jobs, but I needed a longer handle. I really liked the color options and the material seemed quite sturdy.

I really like this shovel
This shovel is sweet. It both strong and extremely lite weight. Mostly I use it for cleaning up after horse and it works great. Also have done a fair amount of yard work with it and it all preform nice in that application as well. Basically it work anywhere you'd use a snow shovel. I wouldn't try digging a ditch or anthing but for a good lite weight snow shovel it's the best.

Strong, but infelxible
Seems like a good shovel, but I thought I would be getting a different texture. My other poly shovels (Bully Tools) have a more sturdy but rubbery feel. This one is a very thick, hard plastic.

Indoor or outdoor, very sturdy well balanced tool.
I personally bought it for inside my house because I can’t bend my knees far enough to use a conventional dust pan. This tool in Galvanized I use on my construction jobs to clean up daily rubbish, wood, and all General dirt. These grain shovels are so easy and balanced and makes any related labor so much easier. It’s very solid but I can control it in one hand and usually dump the load with my one hand. It makes sweeping a lot easier.

Cool Shovel
So far this has been a nice scoop shovel. I use it for snow and it works fine. Like that it's a one piece resin material design. Easy to push the snow with. Cool colors. Time will tell on it's sturdiness.
