I’ve been using the TAUSOM Propane Torch Hose Kit while cooking my traditional dishes, and it works great. The flame is strong, steady, and easy to control, which makes charring and finishing foods simple. It feels sturdy and connects securely, so I can cook with confidence. A very useful tool that’s now part of my regular cooking routine.

Excellent. Powerful. Not fine adjustment with control knob. It's either on all the way or the flame goes out while you are trying to tease a lower setting. Worked to "burnish" wood grain on a Wood Flag.

This torch worked really well. I had a seized nut on my cars suspension and this helped loosen it up. Definitely recommend.

Loved it at first. Did a ton of copper soldering. What I really liked (apart from not having to hold the gas cylinder and being able to access smaller ateas) was the off switch. Gives me more time to grab the rag to do a quick cleanup around the pipe to remove excess solder. Bought it early April '23 and now the flame randomly turns into a flamethrower. Thought it was an almost empty cylinder. Did the same thing with a new one. Supply line looks good. Thought it's not getting enough air. Unscrewed the tip, cleaned the nozzle. No change. Kinda frustrating to lose it in the middle of a job. Really disappointed it only lasted a few months! Too late to return it. The box and the instruction sheet don't tell you how long of a warranty, no phone#, no website, no email. Really?? Update I was pleasantly surprised to receive an email from the seller offering me a refund. For one this tells me that they genuinely care about customer comments and issues that come up. Why else would they make an effort to put things right without me banging on their doors? It also tells me that they want to do the right thing without much fuss or throwing around with excuses. That's why I raised it from 2 to 4 stars.

I've have a Benzomatic hose torch that is starting to leak, so looked for a good replacement. This seemed to fit the bill, but it doesn't. Note that I use MAPP. The flame is very large and hot, so it's good if you just want a big flame. The control is the problem. The knob on the torch really only provides an on/off - no flame control. The knob on the bottle connector gives a little bit of control but only a tiny bit. It's a larger flame than the Benz, but less control than you get with the Benz. Lighting is a little finicky as it'll just pop and blow out unless it's in the sweet spot. Sweating with this is tough - it's just too much heat for most jobs. But it's great when you need to really scorch something. Usually not a big deal - you get what you pay for - but turns out it's non-returnable. It's classified as though it has a gas bottle with it and thus can't be shipped back. Only problem is that it doesn't - it's just the torch.

I love it it works great it gets really hot really fast it melts the copper wires that I'm trying to melt and mold

Works alright hard to get a consistent flame very touchy. And within a week the handle of the torch head cracked and broke very brittle handle. Ended up wrapping nearly a dozen layers of fabric tape around it for a handle.

Llegó bien protegida, me funcionó muy buen para esas reparaciones con ángulos complicados. La flama no se apaga. Una buena compra. 100 % recomendada.

Descent quality. Works fine. Self lighting is nice. Not sure if I prefer over traditional bottle mount but the hose system is convenient just takes some getting used to.

It’s replacing the benzomatic ts 800 wich sells for 100$, my thinking was to get the weight away from my wrist. The cord is just long enough for my setup. The bottle sits on the ground and I sear meet on a cold bbq. Of course managing the flame comes with experience but for now after the fist use, this kit has instantly become a must have tool in my kitchen, no need to heat up the BBQ to sear, just point and shoot after cooking sous vide. Ho yeah you were probably looking for comments on welding, well my comment is about cooking. So yes Chef I recommend and leave others to speak of its welding capabilities. Tks
