I would definitely recommend this. I got this for my son for Christmas. Don't really know what the little pocket is for but the blade on this is remarkable. The the designs in it are awesome. The handle is real wood. The case is a leather. This is absolutely beautiful.

I have wanted a knife like this since I saw the movie "The Hunted" when I was in my teens. When I learned that it was based on the design of knife maker Tom Brown I was thrilled that I could actually purchase one.... Until I saw the price. I was unable to justify or afford the nearly 300 dollar price tag. I searched the internet for cheaper alternatives, and while I found some, none of them were quite what I wanted. Im a bit of a DIY enthusiast so I even tried several times to make my own tracker knife but ultimately failed. I was browsing on Amazon one day and happened across this one. While not exactly what I wanted it's damn close. It's most definitely not the most high quality. The grinds are not even, you don't really notice until close inspection but they are definitely wrong. The blade has a chip where the two edges meet. The knife came very dull, and the secondary grind seems a bit steep to be able to hold a proper edge. The leather sheath seams alright, but the leather strap that holds the knife inside is way too tight. It takes both hands and quite a bit of force to make the clasps snap together. No way you could do it with the knife strapped behind your back. All in all I'm happy with the purchase, I wasn't expecting perfection for the price. I have the equipment to fix the knife and turn it into the blade I want. Or more likely I will just knock the scales off and use it as a pattern to make my own (finally). Same with the sheath, I have leather working experience and may just make my own stamped version using the one it came with as a template.

I was actually pleasantly surprised by the quality of this knife. Damascus steel is real just a novelty, it doesn’t improve on D2 stainless steel. But this knife has a nice weight and balance so it appears to be well worth the money. The leather sheath is cheap but I expected that for the price. I would highly recommend this knife.

I have no dislikes for this product. Its outstanding. Like any handmade knife, its got little imperfections. Thats anything handmade. Its literally a perfect knife for camping and outdoors. Defense. I love its design. The weight. The feeling in my hand(s). The handle is wonderful. It feels like something that fights carpal tunnel. (I worked for cutco/vector in/throughout my 20s so I'm slightly familiar with some details that i enjoy of cutlery) This knife for the buck...the comfort. Its worth it. Idk if its useful when chopping through helicopters and so on. I dont have the ability to test it. Id recommend it tho with what bit I've tested it. A friend already ordered his and he did so with no regrets. Hope you guys buy it

Knife looks to he really good quality. However the case broke the first time I used it because the snaps were corroded They sent me a replacement before I sent the old one back. I opened it and checked the snaps. Same problem. So corroded it broke right after I touched it.

Bought this gift for a good friend who had a big part in my wedding. Solid quality knife everything seems as advertised.

Nice . Minor imperfection. As with all hand made blades but works well.. had it now for around 6 years and still a great tough knife. Bayonet firewood with ease.

Very well made knife, but the model is not very practical. Not heavy enough for an axe function, and too wide for using as a cook knife. But for the crafting of the knife itself, I have no issues. I would buy another model from the same knife smith.
