Excellent so far, it seems the force is with me!
Bought this 37cm 40 volt mower 6 months ago in April. Assembly fairly easy - took about 25 minutes. I discovered a large mulching plug in the box, but strangely, I could find no mention of it in the instructions. Charged battery for an hour. I have 3 lawns, all have wavy edges, which of course adds time to any mowing. There are 2 smaller lawns of 70 sq. metres & 85 sq. metres, both on flat ground. The third is 295 sq. metres on a very slight slope. It took me 9 minutes to mow the 70sqm lawn, but then the weather took a turn for the worse, so I brought the mower in & charged the battery. Two days later I managed to mow nearly all of the large lawn in 39 minutes before the battery ran out. After a 1 hour charge, I finished the large lawn & mowed the 85 sqm lawn & still had 2 lights showing on the battery. Although I'm no spring chicken & have some serious health problems, I found the mower very light & extremely easy to manoeuvre. The design & position of the handle is perfect for me, allowing single handed use in awkward places. It cuts well & stripes ok, although my large lawn is now pretty bumpy because of the hard, dry summer. Height adjustment is a breeze. The bag holds a lot & once I got used to it I had no problem positioning it back on the mower. I was a bit worried having seen some negative reviews regarding battery power & assembly, but I had none of those problems. I bought a second battery which was on offer & recently mowed all 3 lawns in 2 & a half hours including cleaning the mower twice & a quick cup of tea! Previously, the same job with an electric mower was taking me double the time, & I was struggling to cope with cables, extension leads & circuit breaker & eventually had to get my poor other half to do it. Now, I can do it myself! UPDATE: It's April 2023 & although a lot of reviewers recently seem to have had problems with this mower or the batteries, I am happy to report that after mowing my three lawns twice this month, both my batteries held their charges over winter & gave 39 & 36 minutes use. Still very happy!

Battery issues
There seems to be a battery issue with these mowers, after reading some negative reviews regarding the batteries I decided to buy one, unfortunately I've had to return because of a battery issue, the mower cuts good and is nice and light and compact but the mower kept stopping, upon checking the battery status it still had 2 lights showing but barely going 4m before cutting out again, purchase with caution.

almost perfect for my garden
I read so many reviews before buying a battery mower and I am happy with my choice. The battery life is shorter if your grass is long, but for a weekly trim it is perfect and can do my front and back gardens, (85m square) in one charge, around 30min. And its a very quick recharge of about 40min. I do another task while its charging if needed. The grass box is a bit small for my use, I prefer to mulch anyway, which is an included accessory. its light, doesn't hurt my back, and folds away into a space under my work bench. Best bit is I don't have to drive miles for petrol, just so much easier to use than my noisy heavy petrol mower. Better looking lawns too!

Great Mower.
I wish I'd bought a cordless mower years ago, as it's such a relief not having to worry about extension cables and cutting through the wire. I think I was concerned that it wouldn't be as powerful as a mains-powered mower, but this one is just as effective as any I've had in the past. The assembly is a bit fiddly, but not too bad. The handle is adjustable for height and can fold down when not in use. There are seven height settings for the actual cutting blade and this is simply done with a lever on the left hand side of the body. Once it's assembled and the battery is fully charged, it's operated like most electric mowers by pressing in a button and then pulling a grab handle towards you. I've gone from a hover mower to this one which is on wheels and I much prefer the wheeled type: it's just a case of walking up and down and it gives you stripes on the lawn if that's what you're after.I've found the battery life to be very good: I can do both my front and back lawns on one charge if the grass is not too long - I'm not sure what the area is, but it's been going for about 45 minutes and still has some charge left. You can tell how much charge is left by pressing a small button on the battery and up to four green lights come on. I invested in a spare battery, so that there's always one ready to go, but the batteries are a bit pricey, so it's up to the individual and how much grass they've got to cut. Changing the battery is really simple: just lift up the flap on the battery compartment, press the release button and the battery pops up a little way out of its housing. It then fits into the mains charger which is provided. Once it's charged, just slide it back in and press until it clicks into place. There is a decent sized grass box which lifts on and off, or a mulching tool is provided if you don't want to keep emptying the box. I have never used this, so I can't say how well it works. It's quite a substantial machine, not the lightest, but there is a carrying handle. It's great on the flat and with slight slopes, as long as you cut across the slope and not up and down. All in all, I'm delighted with the mower and would recommend it for anybody with a small to medium-sized lawn.

Ease of use.
This is a brilliant battery lawnmower, compared to my old petrol Hayter this is so much easier to handle, well made with a 35 minute battery time, it’s a pleasure to mow the lawn.
