Cardinal Gates Banister Shield 15' Roll Clear

We purchased to use the plastic beside a door that the dogs want to scratch on and it damages the drywall. So we got some adhesive to try and it works well. Being transparent it looks ok. So our usage wasn't exactly what it was designed for... but it worked!

This is product as perfect for our needs! We have three cats and one tried to launch herself from the second floor.This product was very easy to install. It took 2 people 20 minutes to install. Not sure why some people are having difficulties with installation.I'm also wondering why people are complaining at a low tech solution for the money. This is a cheap, easy solution that is easy to take down, if needed, and it completely resolves the problem. Also it is virtually invisible. The plastic is very sturdy, so no chance that they will push it out of place.I have peace of mind that my cats won't be taking any tumbles from the second floor.

I bought this thinking it will be ideal to secure my loft railing. Its too cumbersome and not as sturdy. Its clear and a good plastic roll but doesn't serve the purpose I was hoping for

We just moved into an older house that has a broadly spaced banister. My little guy just learned to crawl and was dangerously curious. I knew he could easily fit right through these wide openings, so I researched everywhere online about fixes. This was what I came up to and for the best price. The shield was easy to install, very durable, and works great. It's more durable than I anticipated. Loved that everything was included with the instructions, including a hole punch. Now that my son is pulling up and almost walking I feel safer as he goes up to the banister, stands up, and starts banging on the plastic. He's even leaned into it on occasion and has been known to do that lovely blow fish face on it. Cleans easily.
