DAP Eclipse Rapid Wall Repair Patch, 6 in (7079809165)

I purchased these to repair a hole in a very obvious spot in my living room. I have tried to repair several different ways with the results being very poor aesthetics. These patches were super easy to install, directions were clear and concise. The end result was great. I will purchase more of these to keep on hand to repair all the dings that happen. A must have for all homeowners and renters alike. HIGHLY RECOMMEND

Adhesive wasn't as strong as it could've been.

easy way to repair small holes in the wall from photos,mirrors etc. easy on paint over once and then remove the 2nd layer and repaint. anyone can use this it's a fast fix. I would not use this for holes bigger than 1 inch. just my opinion from use.

I should have known this was too good to be true. I cut twelve holes in this wall to secure the floating shelves in my kitchen from the back. When I found out about this product, I thought it would be much easier to use this than to repair the sheetrock. I followed the instructions exactly and have experience with painting and construction (just saying the result is not because I cut corners or didn’t understand the process). If you look at them straight on, they aren’t extremely noticeable. However, if the light catches them even a little bit, or you get up close, you can very clearly see the patch. In fact, as you may notice in the pictures, you can see all of the edges, and the ridges of the circles, and the center. There’s no way that I can leave this like this. I’m going to have to either remove them and repair the sheet rock, or cover the entire wall list something. These are not an acceptable solution. Perhaps it would be slightly better with flat paint. It was a complete waste of time and money for me.

I had high hopes for this! I needed to patch a big whole. Followed the instructions exactly and didn't turn out the way it was supposed too. I can still see the outline of the patching. Yes no hole. But the patch to cover it. I even applied multiple layers of paint to see if it would go away. But instead it became worse. So a little disappointed.

Works like a charm! Seriously, for small patches, this product is perfect. I had a hole about 1.5 in long where a security camera used to be. This was so easy to use, simple instructions, and the fact that you don’t have to spackle and sand just made me happy. You cannot see the repair at all and I only used two coats of paint as directed. Definitely recommend.

These are perfect for ceiling repairs, but remember to go up a size or so so that it overlaps the hole!

This works great. Patched up a 2” hole in the drywall easily and quickly. You can’t see where the hole was.

I liked it but needed atleast 5 coats of paint and still bit showing boarder line of patch at closer look
