Battery life is great, it feels good to finally unplug my MacBook and being able to work anywhere in my house. Very easy to install and great product for my money. Working great so far!

It's nice to be pleasantly surprised by a company, especially in todays marketplace which seems to be getting harder and colder. Elecbrain was one of those pleasant surprises. The battery for our MacBook was showing signs of needing replacement (bulging, splitting sides, yikes). This battery from Elecbrain was a perfect fit at a very attractive price. It's been in operation in the laptop for several months now and is working great. Service was quick and followup by the company checking on customer satisfaction also appreciated. I would definitely recommend them and will use them for future needs.

Still working (almost a year). It's holding it's charge well, better than my last battery. The only thing that is not 100% is that my mac sometimes says that the battery needs to be replaced, not sure if this is a glitch or if the battery is going downhill. It still seams to be working fine.

Swelled up like a balloon. I noticed when I couldn’t press down on my trackpad to click. The battery pushed up on the trackpad and on the bottom battery cover. This battery has been charged less than 10 times total. I need to figure out how to dispose of this thing before it catches on fire and burns down my whole apartment building.

I had never done any repair to any of my Mac products before but my old reliable MacBook's battery died and I needed to replace it, I decided to try this product. Not only was it half the cost of the Mac battery it worked just as well. I would recommend this to anyone who needs to replace their battery,

This computer is too old for anything but web surfing or taking notes, but it's handy to be able to take it in the garage and check the YouTube videos about, you know, fixing your chain saw or replacing brake pads without freaking out I'm going to drop my nice laptop. The original battery was shot. Like unplug-and-it-dies shot. This is reasonably priced, holds a three or four-hour charge. Five stars!

I have an 8 year old Mac. The original battery only lasted about five years. My first replacement battery, which was purchased at a brick and mortar big box electronics store, and which cost over $100, never worked well. I ordered this one through Amazon for much less money. I've had the battery about one month and I have no complaints. It charges fast and holds the charge well. I recommend it.

I bought this for an old MacBook that I installed Linux on as a spare machine. I didn't use it a whole lot on the battery, those few times when I did I got a decent couple of hours of use. Now, it doesn't hold a charge, although the OS (Linux Mint) believes it's at 100%. Battery indicator on the side of the MacBook just flashes when I hit the button. Oh well, just more mercury in the landfill.
