Review: Perfect! - Perfect! I bought this for my taller than average 4 year old and there is room for her to grow. It is very good material and held up well in the wash. I have already washed it twice and there is no color fading or anything! I would highly reccomend this nap mat! I do however reccoment washing it before use. It comes a little itchy and stiff (probably from packaging) but one wash and that was gone. *I was able to evaluate this product before I made this review. **Q: Tag says to use a commercial front load washer. Has anyone ever used a top loading washer?**
A: I have washed my daughters napper every week for the last 3 years and it's still holding up! The velcro is getting quite worn as you'd expect but if you clean it out every so often it still works. We've had a variety of washers in that time. We always wash and use the dryer. Works perfect.

**Q: Is this machine washable?**
A: Yes. I machine wash ours weekly and it is still in great shape. I don't put it in the dryer though. It dries quickly just hanging up.

**Q: Why does the pillow have to be removed for washing?**
A: It doesn't have to be removed - I've washed t a few times with the pillow and it's fine. But I think the stuffing in the pillow gets bunched up in spots after washing, so I chose not to wash it often.

**Q: Is the fabric soft or is it scratchy?**
A: The Fabric is very soft.

My son adores this nap mat. He is 4.5 and I used to have an expensive personalized sports mat until the kid at daycare that sleeps next to him threw up on it. I needed something fast and let him choose the colors. It arrived fast was very reasonably priced, seems like decent quality and, again, he loves it.
