I like to knit and crochet at night in bed. I needed a light brighter than my bedside lamp. This does the trick. I can direct the light wherever I need it to be and it also has multiple intensity levels. I also use it when working on jewelry that I make so it has definitely paid for itself twice over.

I bought this headlamp for use in wildland fire and it is the best lamp I have owned so far. It is bright, fast charging, and you can focus the lens. There are a few small issues I have with it however, the first being the clamp that holds the lamp to the headband is brittle and breaks easily. I rarely remove the lamp from the headband so having the clamps is useless to me and having to zip tie the lamp to the band makes it very difficult to adjust the angle. The second issue is the bulb doesn’t have a lens to keep dirt, oil, moisture, etc off of the bulb and reflector. When debris get into the space between the bulb and reflector it is difficult to remove without scratching either surface and the debris and/or moisture create dim spots in the light pattern. Aside from those issues the headlamp works as advertised and is reliable. Having a second battery purchase option would also be nice for those of us who use it all night long away from the engines with no way to recharge it.

This is my fourth different headlamp in the last 5 years, and so far the best. Its all metal and still light in weight. I like that it uses one 18650 battery for power and longevity and that it has the adjustable ring at the light for setting the light width. I didn't need the double bulb version, so this was perfect for basic tasks. I may buy a spare for my car and another for my toolbox. REQUESTED IMPROVEMENTS FOR ALL MODELS: One extra I wish it had would be a timed light feature for reading in bed at night so it would go out after 15 minutes (unless I extended it). Another would be a magnetized add-on cap extension ring so you can pop the light off your headband and attach it to a metal surface. (I don't think you'd want the magnet on permanently since it's positioned so close to your brain.) Lastly, it's the most compact 18650 battery flashlight I've seen. It would be nice to have a variation with a flashlight/cob light combo or this same light with a similar sized flashlight on the blank end cap. P.S. I replaced the 2200mAh battery with a 9800mAh battery to last longer. I wish the battery was optional. SIDE NOTE: I dinged it one star because the headlamp didn't work at first. Pressed the button and nothing happened. Even sent the first one back. I was almost a 1-star reviewer, but customer service was slow but very good. After about 5 emails and me sending them a video of my process, it turned out I was charging the battery for the first time in my own LiitoKala charger and the headlamp didn't recognize it. After I charged the l-ion battery inside the headlamp with their charge cord for even just a few minutes, the headlamp lit up on the second click! Strange.

This is my favorite! I've tried quite a few. The control adjustment is so easy and user friendly! The light isn't as bright as a double but does real well with zoom and brightness settings to conserve energy. Easy to return to selected settings! Bingo!
