Metro Windproof Travel Umbrella - 39" Compact Umbrella for Wind and Rain, Portable, Heavy Duty, UV Protection

Pretty much the best umbrella money can buy. I wouldn't normally get excited about an umbrella but these are really great to have on a date night when you need to keep your Mrs. dry. Keep one in your car at all times, you wont regret it.

This umbrella works very well, and has withstood both rain and light hail. The latch mechanism is easily operated, and is never in an ambiguous state. The mechanism is robust to rotating the handle back and forth in the stowed state to shake off water in an entryway. I do wish I had bought one size larger, but that's my own fault. This size (39") works well for one person when the precipitation is falling straight down, but feels slightly too small when the wind is blowing.

Just arrived so Hhven’t had a chance yet to try it outside, but seems as described. Blunt pockets, nice appearance, easy to open and fold. It is heavier than expected, even though I read the specs. Probably not something I could carry in a backpack. Definitely not a purse. Also it’s quite long. We did read the specs, but in the photos it didn’t relate well the size and weight. It’s hefty, but will keep it. More for a day at the park, a picnic in the sun or a ballgame in the bleachers. Hoping Blunt makes another design that’s every day, drop in a bag, good for around town, hiking, outdoor activities, hiking, walking, birdwatching, city activities: markets, cafes, art festivals, etc. The Blunt Metro may be too hefty for carrying for hours at a time.

We have owned one blunt umbrella for more than ten years and it is still in perfect condition, after Oklahoma wind and rain events. Not too long ago I purchased my second since one of my children wants the first umbrella. Today, Ohio had a downpour and 34 MPH gusts, of course during the time I was walking from work to my car. The wind was so strong it ripped the umbrella from my hand and blew it .25 miles away, across a parking lot. I drove to pick it up, expecting at least some kind of damage from hitting the asphalt so many times; however, it is STILL in perfect condition. We are approaching 11 years of 100% perfect brand recognition. Keep it up, Blunt!

I spent $100 on this umbrella and expected the customer service would be at the level of a premium product. The umbrella broke within a year and the Blunt customer service is extremely slow and unclear in their communication. It took over a week to respond to my repair inquiry only to be given unclear instructions about what needed to be done next to replace my umbrella. Cannot recommend.

After trashing a number of cheaper umbrellas, the blunt brand was recommended to me. Or arrived the other day and despite the fact that the product’s name mentions UV protection, I noticed that the canopy didn’t have the protectant coating. The product itself is well made and seems very sturdy, however I checked the company website and it appears that they do make a UV version, it’s just that this isn’t it.

So far it lives up to the hype. Easy to open and close. Not heavy. Lived through some wind. Looks nice.

I bought one for me and one for my wife. We used it a couple of times while on our last few trips and they worked great. It was easy to see each other when looking with the bright colors.

I decided to buy this as I have always had bad experiences with umbrellas. They invariably fold inside out in the lightest of winds and break easily. So I decided to splash out and buy this having read 'best buy' reviews. You can often tell from the packaging if the product is quality and this does not disappoint. The umbrella looks fantastic in bright orange and is manufactured to a high quality being both sturdy and reasonably light. Each umbrella has its own unique production number printed on it and you use this when registering its 2 year guarantee. If, as expected it lasts at least 2 years it will prove to be excellent value.

La caja en la que viene el paraguas refleja el compromiso de Blunt para con el cliente. Refleja la calidad superior de sus productos. En cuanto al paraguas, mi primera impresión es que es uno de muy buena calidad, los materiales se sienten robustos. Volveré a comprarme otro paraguas pero de un tamaño mayor. Aunque la serie Metro es más que suficiente para el día a día.

Leider hatte ich den Schirm noch nicht im Regen testen können. Er sieht sehr stabil und sehr gut verarbeitet aus. Öffnen und Schließen geht sehr leicht und die Form und Farbe gefällt mir sehr. Hoffentlich gibt es bald mal Regen👍
