This tool is the right size, and it works! BE GENTLE, be patient, you can do it! Once you make contact with the stone, gently rotate the round end and the stone should come out the tonsil crevice. It may take about 30-40 minutes to get it out. To avoid reoccurring stones, gargle with salt water nightly, use a stainless steel or copper tongue scraper, and gargle with mouthwash daily. I did not use the caps, just be gentle.

I had very low expectations for this. I've had many stones through the years, which usually always come out on their own. However, this most recent one has been persistent. I tried this and was shocked how easily it came out. I apologize for the graphic description, but it was so big and was deep within my tonsil. So disgusting but so happy this worked for me.

I have had another tonsil stone removal "pick" before, but it was plastic. The head of this pick is much larger than my previous one, making it slightly harder to use. I definitely am happy I upgraded from plastic to metal, just wish the head was a little smaller.

I received these stainless steel tonsil stone picks and gave them a try twice so far. The tools are about 2 inches to short to reach my tonsils and still be able to be handled easily. They seam a bit sharp and I dont know if it was just the finesse needed to carefully remove stones or if the edges were just too rough. Overall if you have a smaller mouth I could see this being a decent tool but its just too short and small for me to work in my hands.

I was really tired of using q-tips, my toothbrush and whatever else I could get my hands on to try to remove the tonsil rocks that I continuously get. They are so annoying and a real pain to remove from my cryptic tonsils. It's a real struggle and always a bloody mess. After purchasing this product, I couldn't believe the ease, how fast and absolutely painless it was to get out every tonsil rock. I am very happy with this product. It's truly one of the best products out there. Just choose the longer size because the shorter one is hard to use. If I could give this product more than five stars, I would!

Too short made getting to the back hard and the scoops are too big made me bleed

I have big and small crypts in my tonsils. These work only in the big ones. Wish it came with a smaller size instead of 2 of the same size. Now that I think of it, why would you need 2 of the same size?
