[Weekly Point Cosmetic The Saffron] - Facial mask sheet (10pcs in 1pack)

I was pretty excited to try this set of sheet masks from Weekly Point Cosmetic. Made with saffron extract, they promise to moisturize, brighten, and soothe troubled or dry and congested skin. These masks are rather expensive, so I had high hopes for their performance. Unfortunately, and particularly for a product at this price point, I was very disappointed in how they were shipped to me. They arrived with no shipping package or material at all. Somebody simply slapped a mailing sticker on the product box itself and stuck it in the mail. The box was dented, stained, and worn when I received it, and it felt gritty and filthy. Seriously?! $55 a box and they couldn't even put it in a recyclable Amazon mailer?? Not very 'premium' for a premium skincare product, if you ask me.(I had photos of the product as it was when I received it, but they violate Amazon's standards, so I cannot include them here. You'll just have to take my word for it that the 'packaging' was awful.)But still. As beat up as the product packaging was, the masks inside looked perfectly fine, so I tried one that same day. It was positively soaking in serum, and the mask itself fit my face pretty well, and it stayed put while I wore it. I removed it after about half an hour and patted the leftover serum into my skin. My face felt a bit sticky for a few minutes, but once the product absorbed and dried, it was soft and hydrated. Even better, all Weekly Point Cosmetic products are vegan and 100% cruelty-free. They're even Leaping Bunny-certified.Honestly, my experience was very much tainted by the terrible shipping. I am ALL for minimizing excess and unnecessary packaging, but only when the product itself is fully intact when it reaches its destination. Aside from that problem, this is a decent product.I hope that sharing my experience with this product might help YOU make a more informed purchase. Happy shopping!

As a K-beauty face mask junkie, I would say this one is decent.It does what it claims to do, and for my oily combination skin that is rather sensitive, It didn’t feel too much nor bothered my skin.Sheet material isn’t my favorite but like many other facial mask sheets you expect.There was just enough essence left in the pouch to massage my neck and decollete area as well.I did notice a slight floral fragrance but it wasn't too overpowering which is a plus for me.Now, I wouldn’t give 5 star b/c from a cost performance perspective, this is just about right.It is a good mask but doesn’t do an exceptional job considering its price IMO, in comparison to other facial masks in this price range.I think this is a mask you use for a regular day rather than something you would save for a special day.Don’t get me wrong, I liked it. But again, just as much as the next facial masks in this price range.Meaning, I wouldn’t go out of my way to get this one over other masks with the same price.But it's worth trying for sure :)

These are easy to apply and clung well to my skin while I wore it. I wore it for 12 minutes before removing it and I rubbed some of the remaining serum from the packet onto the backs of my dry hands and my arms. After letting my hands and arms absorb in the serum for several minutes I had to wipe it off because it had left my skin feeling kind of tacky/grimy, is the best way I can try to describe it. I hate the feeling of anything on my skin and it just wasn't comfortable for me. When I removed the mask there was a lot of serum left, I tried rubbing it into my skin and pulling it down my neck to my chest. For the rest of the day all of that skin felt grimy, like I'd been outside in the sun and dust all day. It just feels gross to me and these are a hard pass for me especially at the current list price of $55 for 10 masks.

This weekly point cosmetic facial sheet mask called The Saffron is an easy to use pleasant mask. The mask is pretty wet and there is plenty of serum in the package, enough to apply the extra to my neck and décolleté. The mask fits well and stays in place nicely. I left the mask on for over 30 minutes as it was plenty wet enough. I removed and discarded the mask after the 30 minutes and my face still has wet serum on it which I dabbed to help it absorb. After a while the serum was completely absorbed into my skin. My face wasn’t left sticky or tacky.My face looked and felt hydrated after using this mask and I did not experience any irritation or discomfort at all.Overall I’m pleased with this mask and I look forward to using the remaining 9 in the pack.

I ordered these sheet masks in both the rose and the saffron variation. I often stay away from sheet masks as they are overly moist and end up dripping - these are no different. With that said, these are good quality and give you the feeling that you're pampering yourself.I had a "girls night" at my house and all of the women loved doing these masks which was fun. I felt the need to wash my face afterwards because of how wet my face still felt, but overall these were good.I also loved the packaging for these - they are very elegant! I would recommend these for yourself or as a gift. I will potentially reorder and use them as stocking stuffers for the women in the family.All in all, nice face masks!
