Highlighters work well.

I bought these pencils to replace traditional highlighters that are usually constructed with plastic. I am satisfied with the wooden aspect. For a moment, I believed that they came in a plastic sleeve and was a little annoyed. After inspection, it is labeled as a "100% biodegradable cello bag made form wood pulp" and to "please compost".They are somewhat less visually appealing in my opinion compared to normal highlighters. The pencil does grab the eye as much as ink, but that's fine with me. It still gets the job done.As a leftie, I was concerned that they might be made of gel and smear. This was not a problem. My notes still look quite neat.

I initially received the wrong product (I got 4 yellow ones instead of the neon colors in the picture). I reached out to the company, and they were kind enough to send me a new set and even let me keep the original! In addition, I also received a cute pack of stickers, which I’m assuming was to make up for their mistake. As for the product itself, they work beautifully and are a great alternative to normal ink highlighters. They don’t bleed through paper, the colors are vibrant, and they’re way more eco-friendly, which I love! Definitely would recommend. :)

Love these, use them the highlight my bibles. I pickup some of these in a smaller pencil form years ago in a Bible Book Store. Was delighted to find them again. These are a little big but do the job. Do not let the price run you off. You will be happy with them to highlight any book or assignment. Does not run and easy to correct if the highlight was not desired on this verse.

Love the product. However, this is sold as an item to help promote sustainability. However, it comes in plastic packaging. Quite the contradiction.

Giving this 4 stars because I love that these are a sustainable alternative to plastic highlighters. However, they are not exactly anything beyond glorified, pricey, large colored pencils. So you can probably imagine that they highlight only slightly better than a colored pencil would. Still have to scribble through the word a few times to get it to look like it's been highlighted.

These pencil highlighters do an excellent job without smearing even freshly printed copy! Honestly why has it taken me this long to discover this superior product!!

Love these! No wet bleeding. More control and sharpen to point fit precise highlighting. I use on cross stitch charts, too.
