Good size syringe, but I ended up preferring the spray bottle type
This is a decent size syringe, and as an ear cleaning kit it works ok. However, for me it was way better to use a spray bottle type of irrigator due to the amount of build up I had. This requires you to refill it pretty often to get anywhere, but the spray bottle can go essentially as long as you feel like keeping at it. So the product itself is fine, but my personal preference lead me to use something different.

Didn't really do anything for me
I just used this product for the first time. Didn't see any difference although I didn't have any issues to begin with. Just thought maybe I needed it. I guess I don't. Some of you all sharing pics of chunks of wax coming out of your ears...I don't even know what to say. Do y'all not use q-tips after showering? Or maybe you use them the wrong way.

Box slightly damaged - But OK
At first I thought the box was missing the little blue tip that goes on the end... it fell out inside the amazon bubble wrap package from the retail box. (Squished shipment)Other than the box issue... Product is ok. Doe the job.

quite good for a diy ear cleaner, but only for use when necessary.
I bought this since my right ear tends to clog about once a year because doctors visits are way too overpriced here.I recommend doing it after a hot shower rather than using the saline packets to moisten up your ears first and then using it. However I would warn that this should only be used when absolutely necessary such as when your ear is clogged. You will feel a bit dizzy the first 30 seconds after using it and overuse use may cause some damage.

Mind-blown!!
I had low expectations for this product because I've tried so many other products without success. My 1.5yr old son had excessive wax in one ear. I tried multiple different methods/tools to get the wax out with no success and lots of tears. Bought this cleaner and after 3 days of use, not one piece of wax left in the previously-caked ear!! Definitely worth it and will tell all my fellow moms about it!

Good product
The syringe provides a good volume of water, larger than the squeeze bulb that came with my earwax drops. I measured the usable volume is about 70ml. The flow of water does not hit the eardrum directly instead it hits at nearly right angles to it so it was not as uncomfortable as the bulb. After 4 tries it did remove the wax I had been trying to remove for several days with the drops and bulb. Then again this could have been the result of all those drops and prior bulb efforts loosening it up. I will give it the credit for getting the wax out. I like it and will continue to use it. I can't see the benefit of putting salt in the water for the ears.

Works great
My first delivery of this item was missing the product itself from the packaging. After checking my cameras, I thought maybe someone stole it, I realised it was actually delivered without thr product. So I asked for a refund. They said they would send out another one at no cost to me. That made me feel better. I was really needing this and was waiting patiently for it to arrive. Well I ended up with 2 being sent to me. Even better!!! I already used the product am I am very happy with the design and function. It is comfortable and flushes the ear with no issues at all. I love it. I recommend this particular product to anyone. Those spray bottle doo-hickies they try to push off as ear cleansers or flushers are not suitable for this kind of thing. The syringe works great with the soft contoured tip. You wont be dissapointed in this!

Goodbye doctors!
The story goes that once you end up at the docs for an ear syringing, you've basically resigned yourself to a lifetime of it. I don't know exactly how true that is, but like most people who've bought this kit, I've had frequent trips to the doc, due to blocked ears. This typically results in five days of softening (which leaves you deaf as a post after round one) and an appointment with the nurse to get them syringed. I'd previously tried the bulb style kit, but this just seemed to make things worse by drenching an already stuffed up ear in water. So last week, I had the usual pain in the ear from compacted wax, which I then softened up to relieve, ending up with the usual totally deaf ear, but before I made an appointment with the doc I thought I'd just have a look to see if there was any new miracle solution on the market. AND HERE IT IS!Superlatives can't quite do this kit justice. It's basically a syringe, with a specially designed tip to distribute water indirectly into the ear canal, and whilst simultaneously providing drainage for what comes out. Those of you old enough to remember the days before the pedal powered ear jet at the doctors, will recall that this is basically how they used to do an ear syringing in the good old days, only with a stainless steel plungery kind of instrument that looked more at home in a David Cronenberg film.So for starters, if you've never had your ears syringed before, make sure you see your doc to be certain that the issue you're having is due to wax. If it is, or if you're like me and you know these symptoms inside out by now, the process is simple: Use softening drops for about thee days (olive oil based or similar). Then when you're ready to hear again, simply mix one of the provided saline powders with warm water, suck it up into the syringe, put it in your ear and push it on through. The results were AMAZING. Not only did this completely clear out an ear that I was thoroughly deaf in, it did so FAR more comfortably than the machine they use at the doctors (which pounds your ear drum until you can't walk straight and want to throw up) AND did so with only two complete applications. The design is absolute genius. Thanks to the extremely comfortable rubbery tip, the water itself is directed into ear at slight angles, rather than as a direct stream which can be painful when pushed right against a blockage and potentially damaging to your ear drum. And the syringe not only offers much greater pressure than similar "bulb" based solutions, but being a syringe, you have far greater control over exactly how much that pressure is. You'll probably be a bit tentative to begin with as you get used to the sensation, and that's a good thing because it means you can proceed being very comfortable. I cleared a load on the first application, and then on the second one pressed a bit harder and pushed it on through till I could feel the water actually swirling at my ear drum. Ten seconds later - super sonic hearing.Whoever designed this thing, I'd like to kiss them on the face. Seriously, if you need regular ear syringing, then I simply cannot recommend this kit enough. Once you own this, you'll never be going back to the doctors for it again!

On the fence? Don't be. GET THIS.
Let's start with the bad:Why didn't I order this sooner. Now the good:If you are in doubt like myself then let this be your decider. Oh my god. After spending 3 months with my right ear progressively getting worse (and waiting for an appointment). Up until the last week where I lost all hearing entirely. I had tried olive oil. Hydro peroxide. The lot. No go. This wax was stubborn. So i got fed up of only hearing ringing and my heartbeat from my right ear and decided to look for a self irrigation kit.I wish i had got this 3 months ago when my ears first started causing me an issue and tried booking an appointment.Took a little while to get the hang of the nozzle in the right position (tip, point the tip of it in your ear titled so that when it is in your ear you are almost trying to spray straight up), but as soon as i did. Wow... the stuff my ears had been hiding. Disgusting. No wonder i was deaf! Fantastic!Honestly the best thing i have ever bought!

Worked as intended.
I had a blocked right ear for over a week and i was using some drops but it still remained blocked until i got this today. It took about 6-7 goes with warm water. First i seen tiny bits of specks in the sink then after another go the water coming out was turning yellow then bigger pieces came out but the biggest piece was about the size of my thumbnail and i kid you not! The pictures here of big pieces are not lying. haha My left ear wasn't block but i syringe that also and the same thing came from that ear. I waited just over a week with a blocked ear and this solved it in less than half an hour and it only costed mere pennies so i'm impressed! Cheers!

I can hear again - yipee
Suffer from blocked ears due to v narrow ear canals (heridatory apparently). Fed up with getting them cleaned out by nurses at gp surgery ( they are probably fed up doing itcas well), also it takes ages to get an appointment! So got this a little while ago, ears now blocked, driving me mad & making me v grumpy, so warm oil drops in ears for 4 days & then tried it today without sachets.I filled a washing up bowl with warm water from the tap, knelt over the bath & started syringing slowly then gave it a bit of welly, oh my word the gunk that come out - and that was my better right ear, when I did my left ear yeuk, but it worked I can hear again, as another reviewer said it is like hearing in HD, you don't realised how much your hearing deteriorates until it fully blocks. So pleased I have bought this & am going to get another cos I don't want to be without it. Marvellous.

EXCELLENT PRODUCT | Unblocked my ear
Despite being slightly sceptical given the reviews being a mix of "this product literally changed my life" and "this gave me vertigo and now I can't stand up", I decided a careful and gradual application would probably be fine. I have had my ears water syringed twice before, both in the third world, and it didn't deafen me nor make my eardrum collapse. In reality, I felt if I was careful I felt there was only so wrong this could go.Soften the wax for two days with olive oil in advance, and be aware that this may make it feel worse. The pressure became greater and I could hear less, admittedly.I boiled 500 mL of water, added the saline solution, then had a bucket under my ear and had my partner carefully squeeze on the plunger with the nib just slightly into my ear canal. It was done gently and at first nothing happened, but after three or four slight increases and pressure and depth, large amount started flying out and by the end of the fifth my hearing had completely returned.People who damage their ear doing this most likely pushed too hard on the syringe, put the nib too deep into the ear canal, and potentially already had existing problems. If you are careful and know your issue is a buildup of wax then this product will save you Β£70 and an annoying wait for the doctor.BE AWARE - Things related to flushing your ear with water will invariably impact your balance slightly and I did admittedly feel a little bit dizzy for a few minutes afterwards, but this quickly faded after a biscuit and a sit down with a cup of tea.
