Ugears Scrambler UGR-10

Product is a static bike. Despite all efforts the bike doesn't move as shown.

Very poor quality product and so its very frustrating for kids to build this and atlast after spending hours and days no outcome. Just not worth the money and time spent.

This is the second ugears model that I bought, and this time I learned that you need to be extremely careful to get it to work properly! There is one "hack" that was necessary to get this one to work though. The knob that is used to wind up the bike is too tight by default - when you turn it you hear a squeaking sound and can feel the wood constantly sticking from too much friction. I needed to shave off maybe one mm or so from piece 18, and then after putting it together again it worked really nicely (after carefully sanding and waxing all moving parts)! Although it's still not so effortless to wind - you should wind it by hand since the wooden key will break. I've added a photo to the review of the piece that you need to modify (with my own arrows drawn in to show which piece to cut away). I found that melting a candle and applying the melted wax to the gears with a paintbrush worked very well for the waxing. Overall it has amazing attention to detail, and so many cool moving parts that you don't expect! It was very cool to work away on it for 15 or so minutes per day for about a month maybe - you definitely shouldn't rush through it! So far I really love these modles and it's really so cool discover how they work as you build them. They don't work smoothly though without putting in a lot of effort. It would be worth it anyways because building them is really cool anyways, but it definitely gives you a sense of accomplishment if you can actually get it going!

E' il primo il primo modellino in legno che compro, ma ne ho fatti a decine in plastica. Sono rimasto colpito dalla qualità, non credevo che si potesse raggiungere un livello cosi alto con del legno, miracoli del taglio laser. Ho avuto qualche problema inizialmente a capire come levare i pezzi senza romperli e senza starci 2 ore, ora vado spedito. Le istruzioni sono chiarissime,mi raccomando leggetele con attenzione e non fate come me che ho dovuto rismontare. Si incastra tutto, ho usato la colla solo per attacare i pezzo piccolissimo, colpa mia che lo avevo un po sciupato. Nella scatola è presente anche la carta a vetro e tutto qualle che serve , munitevi solo di un bisturi per rimuovere i pezzi senza rompeli e delle tronchesine per tagliare gli stuzzicadenti.

La motocicleta con Sidecar 3D de Ugears está bien diseñada, presentándose las piezas marcadas en planchas de madera, con un número indicativo al lado, de donde se extraen fácilmente (aunque hay que hacerlo con cuidado en algunas de ellas). Entretenido montaje que ejercita la atención de quien lo hace; apto para ser hecho en colaboración con otra persona. Se incluye un esquema de montaje que facilita el trabajo. Aunque no se señala en el kit de montaje, en mi opinión la maqueta resultante puede ser pintada con una pintura apropiada para un acabado perfecto.
