Leemone Humidifier Cleaner, Demineralization Cleaning Ball, 12 Pack

I recently picked up the Leemone Humidifier Cleaning Fish, and I’m honestly impressed. Such a simple idea, but it works really well. I dropped it into my humidifier tank and noticed a difference within days. The water stayed cleaner, and I didn’t see that usual buildup starting to form as quickly. It’s completely hassle-free. No weird smell, no residue, and no extra steps added to my routine. Just put it in and let it do its thing. I also like that it helps extend the time between deep cleanings, which saves me time. If you use a humidifier regularly and want an easy way to keep it fresher and cleaner, this is a great little add-on. Definitely worth it.

Works great. We got a humidifier, and the water kept turning pink. I threw one of these in the tank after cleaning at and I haven't had an issue since. I will have to use it a bit longer to see if it helps with the white minerals landing on our dresser...

I have to run a humidifier constantly in the winter to make my house bearable. I noticed I was getting white dusty buildup on the table around the humidifier from the minerals in my water. I purchased these cleaning balls to try to fix that. I'm not sure how well they're really working, I think maybe they're helping somewhat. I think it takes longer for the minerals to accumulate than without them. I haven't had as much trouble with bacteria and mold build up since using these but I also started using hypochlorus acid to disinfect the humidifier every time I refilled it. So I'm not sure which thing is helping with the mold growth. They're small enough to fit into both of my table top humidifiers. I do find that they sometimes get wedged inside the parts on the tank but I've been able to get them out with a bit of effort.

I started using these in my humidifier for my bedroom. It has a gallon and a half tank and these have been helping keep the water from getting gross.

Unfortunately these little cleaning balls did not work for my humidifiers (Honeywell warm mist and Vicks warm mist). I live in Iowa and the water is hard here. After 3 weeks of using these balls, I noticed my humidifiers sounding really loud. It's likely due to mineral build up on the heating unit. Sure enough, when I opened up the devices, I saw a build up of minerals which these balls were supposed to prevent. Oddly though, the minerals were more powdery when I was removing it from the devices. It was also much easier to remove the minerals with the use of these balls than without using them. Instead of taking hours to clean, it now takes less than an hour. I'll continue to use these balls until I run out but don't think I will be reordering any more.

I live an area with a lot of minerals in the water. I use these along with filtered water. I still get some white dust in my house but its significantly reduced. Its now January. I bought 2 brand new humidifiers in November and have been running them pretty consistently. I have only a few tiny spots of mineral build up on the heating units in the humidifiers.

I am honestly blown away by these silver ion cleaning balls. I used them in five different ultrasonic humidifiers this recent winter season, and I didn’t have to scrub them a single time. There was no slimy mildew or "pink funk" at all. To really put them to the test, I left stagnant water sitting in the tanks for two months, and they stayed crystal clear. It didn't even matter what kind of water I used; both my RO system and my standard three-filter setup stayed perfectly clean. If you’re tired of deep-cleaning your humidifiers every week, just drop these in and forget about it. They are a total game-changer for humidifier ownership!

We have hard water at home. And I'm talking REALLY hard water. VERY SUPER MEGA ULTRA HIGH levels of calcium carbonate. We installed a water softener for the house but it doesn't get all of it so our water is still slightly hard even after that. We were still getting carbonate dust blown ALL OVER THE HOUSE from the humidifiers. And the humidifiers kept getting clogged up with the carbonate scale, too. The wicks were turning into ROCKS of chalky carbonate. SO NASTY. SO we got these to compensate for that. IF your water is "slightly hard" these work GREAT at preventing scale buildup and that white dust from happening. IF your water is "very hard" though, you MUST install a water softener FIRST. One fish per tank is all it takes. My humidifier has 2 tanks each 1.7 Gallons and one fish is all it takes for each one. But eventually the chemical inside the fish will run out, so you will have to replace the fish every 15 - 40 days, depending how bad your "hard water" problem is. Also, even though this item is called a "cleaning fish" it doesn't actually clean anything. It just removes calcium carbonate scale, and has a mild anti-algae / anti-bacterial chemical. So you will still have to wipe down your humidifier parts every 2 months or so, and change the wicks about every month or so.

Bought these as I run 3 humidifiers. I don’t know what or how they do it but they make cleaning simple—no mineral buildup. Before these I had to soak parts of humidifier in vinegar to remove the buildup. They last a month and aren’t expensive and I’m glad I found them!

Great for the price, they definitely do what description says. I have two in a humidifier one in a fish tank and one in a plant keeps the well water soft.

These would Always get stuck in the center where the lid goes. I didn’t quite like these. Not sure if they really did anything either.
