I got this to hang Sun Zero curtains which are a little heavier than normal because of the room darkening lining. Once I got the rod up & firmly staying, it holds the weight.Annoying parts:- no instructions included (have the Amazon listing nearby).- DON’T THROW AWAY the teeny ziploc bag with the teeny tool! You need it to take an end off to get your curtain on. Why doesn’t it just pop off or screw off?- there’s foam squares on the rod that must be for packaging, so I just cut them off with scissors.- the narrower tube is shrink wrapped in plastic. I used scissors to snip the edge & peel it off, scratched the surface a bit & the black came right off. So it’s a very thin coat of paint that can scratch off.- all other tension rods I’ve used have a rubber or silicone end. This one has suction cups & if you put up one end then try to adjust it, the suction cup pulls off & drops. My window is 65” wide, so a simple solo task needed an extra hand.Kudos for holding my heavy curtains, but the rest was not great.**I hope my review Helps your shopping decisions!**

Overall the product does what I need it to do with only minor issues during installation and none after. These issues were fixed with the updated listing.I bought this product as a result of a cat ruining my apartments shutter blinds and since NICETOWN was running a promotion with this product and their curtains. This rod is able to extend up to 80" and support 30lbs, I only needed 60" and a weight of 15lbs~. The rod came in a clear plastic sleeve with the caps plugged and stapled. The product did not come with any instructions on the package nor did it come with an allen wrench.The largest gripe I have with this product is the packaging and the lack of instructions on said packaging. The product was placed in a clear plastic sleeve with the ends stapled shut. Once I finally got one of the ends off I learned that the rods ends were too large to fit curtains that were made by them. The rod can be twisted to extend the rod, I am not sure if you are able to disassemble the rod to put the curtains on. Of course that wasn't in the listing when I first bought the item.

The rods were the only tension rods I could find to span ten feet. The white paint scratches off as the curtain rings move back and forth on the rod. There was some sagging in the middle which I fixed using one curtain rod support(not included). Both packages came damaged on the inside with missing suction cups. If the nickel rods were available I would think there would be less scratching. I kept the second set as I needed the rods and there was nothing else available.

I purchased these for a few of my windows to hang sheers. They were super easy to install for a 50 yr old woman with stage 4 cancer by myself. And they disappear into the windows and don’t stand out. Which is what I wanted. I am very happy with my purchase.

The product itself is great. The tension rod is sturdy and it is a perfect fit for the identical brand curtains from Nicetown.The only complaint, and this is a warning, the product description is misleading and outdated. It claims to come with a bonus allen wrench. It does not. Maybe a previous lot number did, but after contacting Amazon, even though it's in the description, I was told this product does not include it. So unless you get an older one from the warehouse that includes the bonus, expect to purchase one yourself.

Works great and holds my curtains. I do think that the ends should come packaged off rather than having to take an end off to put on the drapes.

Use it to hold curtain infront of closet. Sturdy daily

The product arrived bent and missing the allen wrench that is required to actually adjust the rod's length. Therefore, it is completely useless as is. This is incredibly disappointing.
