Bates- Utility Knife Blades, 40 Pack, Box Cutter Blades, Razor Blade Utility Knife

Quite a nice chunk of blades for the price. They stay sharp for a good while. They will fit most utility knives. They remove and install very easily. I stored them in the pack they come in by just opening the back of the stack i wanted to pull from. That worked fine but I eventually went to a band aid tin to store them.

So, standard replacement utility blades. No issue with blades themselves. They came oiled, and are as sharp as expected. Only fault I can name, and this is a personal note, is that the packaging fell apart in transit. Im assuming the weather being below 0c in travel and the oil caused the glue to fail. Still somewhat awkward to get a package of loose blades in the mail.

Great blades at a great price. Packaging issue is only partly the seller's issue and partly the way Amazon shipped it. The blades are in a plastic cover that is fitted to the blades and glued to a cardboard backing. The trouble is, Amazon throws them in a bubble envelope mailer loose. Now, I assume that the plastic was still attached to the cardboard at that point but, in shipping its free to slide around the envelope and that causes the plastic portion to separate from the cardboard and then you have a bunch of razor blades loose in the envelope. In mg case, when I opened the envelope up and tipped it to slide the contents out, I got a handful of loose very sharp blades. Fortunately, I only got a couple of pricks. Could have been worse. Also, could have cut through the bag in shipping and spilled out. This could have been easily prevented by just wrapping a piece of craft paper around the blade package. So, in summary, these are great blades. 5star blades, subtracted a star for shipping/packaging. Buy them but, remember to open envelope carefully.

The blades are super sharp. How do I know this? Whelp due to the horrible packaging I reached in to grab the blades and another small item in the box. The blades were all over the box and I tore up my finger. Im seeing others saying same. This issue needs to be fixed. This is a hazard. What if kids had grabbed in the box? I’m definitely calling Amazon about this. Packaging issues need fixing. There was a warranty card in the package. I don’t know if the package was cut open to stick that in or the glue didn’t stick. Either way fix the issue. I will not buy from this vendor again.

These are sharp and sturdy. They don’t have much flexibility. They seem to be made of a quality material. Each blade can be used several times. They leave a clean cut line. I use them in a basic utility knife. They make cutting up cardboard boxes quick and easy. I use them often on a variety of materials.

Blister pack that blades came in looked like it was a repack,reached into my amazon bag to retrieve the product and sliced my index finger(which proves the product is sharp) the blades were all over the bag and not in origonal packaging,I also ordered ordered standard scraper blades qty 100 and not only was the packaging bullet proof but each blade was individually wrapped .The product was great,the packaging by vendor(not Amazon)was terrible and not safe.I see similar coments from others on this product....spend .50 cents more and buy from a different vendor,you actually won't be spending more because of the savings of the band aid...
