RONSEAL ULTIMATE DECKING STAIN CHARCOAL 5L, PAINT

For the past 20 years we have treated our decking with a Jouturn decking product and it has kept the decking from rotting unlike others in the area who treated the decking with cheap alternatives. For some reason it is extremely difficult to get hold of the original treatment so we started to look for an alternative.We were advised that the RONSEAL ULTIMATE DECKING STAIN was a close alternative. So I purchased the same volume of stain I would from the previous treatment. Not only did the tratment go on easily, but I was able to apply a second and third coat in the time a short amount of time. To my shock i needed 1/3 the amount I us to use. The deck looks great and it is not slippy. The water repels off well and even after 6 weeks the water still forms beads and rolls off.Great treatment for the deck. I wouldn't even mind having to re apply coats every year

Very please with my purchase. The coverage is quite good. After 2 coats the finish is fantastic. It has a very good water repellent added to it. So very waterproof. Very pleased with my purchase.

Im really happy with the look of my new decking after using this paint and it is clearly showing its water resistance and is definitely non slip too which is great. I’ve been using the ronseal fence paint and wanted to match it to the fence.My only complaint would be it did take a lot to get the colour to finally start coming through even after giving it a really good stir so you just have to be patient if painting onto new decking. It took us 3 coats to get there. Used a full tin on a 3m x 3m deck. But overall really happy. Would recommend.

Does what it says on tin

I tried so many greys over the years that always have a blue tinge. Maybe trying cheap paint wasn't the way to go.But finally Ronseal Charcoal has given me the colour we wanted, lovely dark grey colour. The stain is quite watery in consistency so goes on really easily and quickly and covers well.Will see how it lasts over time, but so far after a few barbeques and some very mixed weather, still looks like I painted it yesterday. Will definitely buy again in the future

First time using Ronseal on my Decking and the results are very good so far. Very water resistant and colour looks great. My Decking is 9 years old now and hopefuly the Ronseal Decking paint will give me full protection over the winter period. Fingers crossed.

This is brilliant decking stain does exactly what it says on tin, coverage brilliant colour lovely and easy to apply,will definitely be purchasing again for next summer just for a wee freshen up.

This paint although applied as instructed was a disappointment after 6 months, as it became faded and patchy in place. I have to say I expected much better from this product after reading reviews and thinking that this would definitely do the job without the after effects that I have previously experienced from other brands, sadly not the case therefore low rating, and wouldn’t buy again.
