Dash Mini Pizzelle Maker

This is small and cute,but really perfoms.Works as well as a commercial brand. I use it all the time.

I am a frequent baker who distributes goodies to friends, shut-ins, family, church and of course at home. This is the cutest little thing. I was so excited about it that I ordered a set of three for my nephew's family as a gift. I made 3 plus dozen pizzelles in one evening. Yes, it will take you about 4 minutes a piece but I just worked it in to some other things I was doing that evening, but this little gadget will be a great vacation traveler. I love to make snacks when we are on vacation because snacks can cost a bundle and you can make many pizzelles, on so many flavors with just a few ingredients which you can pop in a case with you.

I love pizzelles, but I had never tried to make them before. This pizzelle maker is very accessible and easy for a beginner. The basic recipe is very straightforward, and the maker bakes the pizzelles easily, one at a time. Someone said it seemed a bit slow -- that's entirely possible, although I wouldn't know. My main comment would be that it seems to cook a little unevenly, but I might just need to practice. In addition, I found that to make truly crisp pizzelles, you really need a scant tablespoon of batter (or even less). For pizzelles you can use in other applications, such as cannoli, you should use the 1-2 tablespoons of batter recommended. I'm just thrilled there's a product that simplifies the need to use a pizzelle iron!! (If you haven't seen one, look on Amazon. I am NOT using that!! haha)

Almost perfect but doesnt protect against spillage

I’m learning to use it still, the few times I have use it I have overfilled and made a mess or not enough and burn it, I lose my patience with it , not do to the product, because I’m had a stroke and get frustrated, I tired again yesterday and didn’t much better, I don’t regret buying and I’m getting better at it.m

This is a perfect purchase if you only make pizzelle a few times a year. It is so small-I especially love the double designs… the cookies make a pretty plate when you alternate them. I would purchase again!

Boyfriend hasn't had them in quite a few years, and I wanted to make them for him. The recipe in the book is spot on and the maker cooks them very well! You don't need to spray the maker as the butter is enough ~I oiled it the first time just in case to see~. He is also Italian, so a lot of family tradition was riding on this little maker. I absolutely recommend

Arrive completely broken with chipped off pieces and all the electrical pieces hanging out. Returning for a replacement so hopefully we'll get a new one. Will come back to update review.Update: received replacement.
