Does it magnify clearly through the whole rectangle? Or only in the middle?

This illuminates and clearly magnifies over its entire height and width of the field of view, the whole rectangle. But for me, it works best with one eye closed. You do have enough flexibility with the distance you hold it away from the page to easily follow along side-to-side or up-and-down. This one is a keeper.

Does this have a usb c ports to charge? in one photo, it shows a micros usb cable, but in one of the images, the port is clearly usb c.

the port on the magnifying glass is a USB micro B and the charging cable have on the other side a USB Type A plug.

I see that a charging cord is included, but what about the plug? Is the plug included on the end of the cord, or just the cord?

One end of the cord plugs into the magnifying unit, the other goes into a USB port... but I find it easier to use my phone charger to charge it from an electrical outlet plug.

Can you use a phone adapter to charge this?

Yes, I do, and find it much easier.

Better than expected!

The glass seems good, solid quality. The light is dimmable and really bright. The magnification is excellent, and covers a large area, in a reading-friendly rectangle. And a pocket magnifier came with it, as a bonus!. Really impressed and pleased. Oh, and it charges through USB so no batteries to worry about. A really successful purchase!
