Beautiful little watercolor sketchbook. Pages are textured on both sides and very thick. No problem at all with lots of water, which is required with granulating watercolors that I prefer. No warping either. I’m very pleased. Perfectly sized to go in my purse with my tiny palette and waterbrush. Easy to use on the fly during work breaks and waiting in those long post office lines. Truly, everyone who needs a travel sketchbook that really takes the wet media well should have one of these. Very reasonably priced as well.

Love the size and the paper is heavy duty. I just like to practice my watercolors and this is perfect! Will buy another one when I am done with this one!

Beautiful little watercolor sketch book. Quality product. Green leather (at leaalst looks and feels like leather) is beautiful. The paper seems as good as Arches. Perforated near the seam to easily remove individual sheets. Has a bookmark attached. Can't wait to start using this sketchbook. For the price point, it is worth it.

Paper has a lot of texture, and very thick. It’s 5.5 x 5.5 so perfect for on the go or for studio painting. It’s bound where the pages will not fall out. It’s very nice watercolor paper and a great value for the money.

The paper quality in this watercolor journal is very nice. Paint moves well across the page and holds the water well. It also lifts color without breaking down. Great value for the price.

I love this watercolor journal. I have completely soaked paper to the point where the paper was dripping off and when it dries it is barely warped. The pages are thick enough that you can paint on both sides without issue, which is something I was concerned about prior to purchasing. I also enjoy that it has perforated paper, although I haven't tried it yet. The strap to keep it closed is great for throwing in a bag, plus it's the perfect size to take elsewhere. I'm considering buying another now just to have for whenever I run out of pages!

Great little journal. The paper is great. Nice weight and absorbency and is similar to Arches. The 5x5 is a little small for me but will be nice for a bird journal.
