Machines that can detect the denominations of mixed bills cost a few thousand dollars.Begin with the understanding the 6600UV counts bills and does arithmetic.  The operator must enter the denomination of the stack of bills to be loaded in the hopper.  The machine adds the value of the denomination for each bill that moves through.  Slip in a fifty in a pile of twenties and the machine will add $20 for the fifty.  Actually, the machine counts pieces of paper whether it is a US bill or a piece of paper.  Personal checks have the same dimensions as US currency.  Slip a check in a pile of twenties and the machine will add $20 for the check.There are 4 typical ways to use the machine.  1) Count the number of bills are in a stack, or pieces of paper in a stack for that manner.  2) Count how many dollars worth are in a stack, presuming the correct denomination has been selected.  For example, 4 fives totals $20.  3) Keep a running total of several stacks, presuming the correct denomination has been selected for each stack.  4) Separate a stack into bundles, say for example a stack of ones into bundles of 25 each.Toggle on the add feature.  Select the denomination, say 1$.  Load a pile of ones.  The counter will automatically move the bills through, adding $1 for each bill.  Assure the pile contains only ones.  Add more piles of ones as needed.  If the next pile contains fives, select $5.  $5 will be added to the running total for each bill.  To start a new running total, press clear.

Can anyone tell me how to set the beep sound on Cassida 6600?

The Cassida 6600 beep can be turned on/off for the sound emitted when pressing the buttons or when error and suspect counterfeit bills occur.
To do so: 
1. When the machine is ready to count, press and hold ‘8’ for 3 seconds to access the settings
2. Press ‘8’ to select the function (K_Beep for buttons and W_Beep for errors)
3. Press ‘7’ and ‘9’ to turn on/off
4. Press ‘START’ to confirm the new setting
5. Press ‘8’ until ‘‘ESC’’ is highlighted
7. Press ‘START’ to exit;
Machine is now ready to count with the new settings.
