Fabulous, for about the price of a Chromebook
Incredible. I ordered refurbished iPhones and iPads for my daughters and I was realllllly happy with those, so I tried an old refurbished MacBook Air and wow. It's beautiful. It's advertised as a 2019 model but I actually found out it's a March 2020 model, so I was sent a newer one. It's pretty old but it arrived looking brand new. It turned on immediately, charged up and had a normal battery. I only need this to keep up with eBay and print labels. My Lenovo think pad that I loved, stopped being able to print labels because the memory is so full. I don't have the patience to try to renew my old think pad, and I've always hated windows after being a Mac user since the beginning. Everything is smooth and perfect but I'll update the review if anything goes wrong. It arrived quickly in about 48 hours and was well packed. Keyboard feels great. It only has a c input so I have to get a usb c printer cable but no problem. It arrived with a charger that works and the display is bright and beautiful. The person complaining that they were locked out from forgetting their password, that sounds like something the person did wrong. Not the refurbished MacBook Air. My experience has been great with this one and it was about the same price as a nicer Chromebook and I am just so sick of windows and chrome. Edited to add: I was so happy with this MacBook that I bought another one for my daughter who is in college. It arrived in 2 days, in perfect condition. This model is also the March 2020 edition so it's newer than advertised. There are two very superficial scuffs on the outside case but the screen and keyboard are brand new looking. It loaded up her Apple account from her iPhone immediately and she loves it. I'll come back in a couple months to get another one for my high schooler. I just could not be happier. I've added photos of the second computer I bought showing one of the light scuffs. This is a happy trade off for having an easy to use, pretty computer and finally be done with Chromebooks and windows.
