Is it good in a cajon drum?

In a Cajon box, from what I've seen it looks more like a comb a long comb what slaps against the wall of the drum when you hit it this strand I don't think would be good unless you modified it which would be a big pain in the ass

It does not come with the straps but it does come with the wires you thread through the ends.

Will it attach to normal low end snares?

Yes it does attach. I even put a set on a $99.00 Ludwig snare I use for practice. Sure improved its sound.
