The media could not be loaded.  This sealer is heavy and long weighing at around 5kg. I would say normal homes will probably found this to be too big and will probably ruin the looks of a modern kitchen, therefore I can see this being used in commercial settings such as tuck shops or professional kitchens.The sealer comes with a 2-pin plug power cord. There is a travel adapter included to fit UK 3-pin sockets. Operation is easy - plug in, set the length of heat by turning the dial and press the lever down to seal. The sealer heats up instantly, and takes no more than 2-3secs to cut off once reached the set temperature. The light next to the dial indicates the machine working or not, and there is a buzzing sound when it is heating up.There are a couple of heating elements spare parts included which look easy to replace should you need to.I found it difficult to judge which level fo heat to be used. I overdone a few bags that nearly broke the bag at the seal. To find the optimal setting you may need a few trials and errors. It seals pretty well once you know what you are doing.What I didn’t like about this product is the look of this will be hard to blend into any domestic kitchens and it is too big for home use. I have a compact sealer that can do the same job albeit a slower job with less power but it is small enough to stick on the fridge. The instructions included in the leaflet are not the best writing either.If you have a lot of bags to seal then this is for you.

Large and bulky, but of an industrial quality and will work for hours without letting you down - perfect if you are a small shop owner and proper prepper!Works really well and takes split seconds to seal a very sturdy , heavy duty vacuum seal sleeve! The only downside, apart from the fact you will need a UK converter, is that it is literally always in a ready for action mode, which may be good for a trader, but not perfect for home use, as I would prefer to have an on/off button so I could have it plugged in all the while without worrying that something will push on the lever ( as in one of those horror movies where things get a life of their own LMAO) and it will start burning .Bottom line - you plug it in, you regulate the knob on the side to the setting of your choosing - the thicker the material the hotter you want it, you put your bag on the element and push. The red lights comes on, you hear a click and split second later - release and enjoy a perfect seal! So, it is perfect for industrial use, but maybe a bit to much for your home kitchen.

The sealer arrived safely, and it came well packaged inside a nicely illustrated retail box. Along with the sealer you get some spare heating wires, spare Teflon strip, UK converter adapter, and the user guide.I’ve been using impulse sealers for a number of years now as I send rugs and carpets out in the post which get sealed inside polythene layflat tubing bags to protect them from moisture. This model from Hanchen is a good quality, solid unit that is simple to use and I’ve had a pleasant experience from using it.I love the quality of it; nice and heavy so it doesn’t move around, and it feels very industrial being solid and well made, even the control knob is nice to use and doesn’t feel cheap. You just plug it in, set the time depending on the thickness of the bag you are using and its ready to use immediately. Place the bag (max of 0.3mm thick) along the strip and push down on the handle until the light goes out, then wait 1-2 seconds and lift the handle. It creates a very even and airtight seal once you find the perfect setting.When you come round to changing the heating wire and/or Teflon strip you just unscrew the screws holding the covers on each side, take the covers and Teflon strip off, remove the black box by unscrewing the screw and swap out the heating wires and put everything back together.Overall, I think this a great unit and I have not come across any issues whilst using it, so it has been a pleasant experience so far. Its well-made, good quality and therefore I feel it represents good value for money. It’s a product I’m happy to recommend and I feel its worth the full five stars for an excellent piece of kit!

This is a brilliant piece of kit. It’s not especially cheap but it is very well-made. This particular model is 15.7 inches wide so it can seal really large items. To be honest it’s ceiling a little bit too large for our needs as we tend to use for smaller bags. The design though is very slim in nature so despite it being long it can still be easily stored. It comes with a pan European plug but they do supply an adapter that can be used with a standard UK3 pin socket.There is a dial at the side that you can use to adjust the heat settings. This involves a little bit of trial and error because it will take you awhile to match the optimum heat setting for the particular bag you are using. Too low and it won’t seal properly however too high and the seal won’t be properly sealed either. However all it takes is a little bit trailer there to get the perfect still depending on the bag you are using. I’m not sure if we need one that’s quite this weight and might have been inclined to go for the shorter model however I think whatever your needs one of the three sizes that this comes in is definitely worth considering. It is very easy to use and it is very well-made. Recommended.

Das Gerät kam sicher an und war gut verpackt.Zusammen mit dem Versiegelungsgerät erhalten Sie eine englischsprachige Bedienungsanleitung.Es ist perfekt zum versiegeln von Plastik- und KunststoffhüllenEbenso perfekt z,B. für große Säcke Pferdefutter.Dieses Modell von Hanchen ist ein hochwertiges, solides Gerät, das einfach zu bedienen ist. Ich habe bisher nur gute Erfahrung damit gemacht.Die Qualität ist top. Es ist über 6 kg schwer, damit es sich nicht so leicht bewegt.Zudem fühlt es sich sehr wertig an. Selbst der Bedienknopf ist schön zu bedienen und fühlt sich nicht billig an. Sie schließen es einfach an, stellen die Zeit abhängig von der Dicke des verwendeten Beutels ein und es ist sofort einsatzbereit. Legen Sie den Beutel (maximal 0,3 mm dick) entlang des Streifens und drücken Sie den Griff nach unten, bis das Licht ausgeht. Warten Sie dann 1-2 Sekunden und heben Sie den Griff an. Sobald Sie die perfekte Einstellung gefunden haben, entsteht eine sehr gleichmäßige und luftdichte Abdichtung.Wenn Sie das Heizkabel oder den Teflonstreifen wechseln möchten, lösen Sie einfach die Schrauben, mit denen die Abdeckungen auf jeder Seite befestigt sind.Nehmen Sie die Abdeckungen und den Teflonstreifen ab, entfernen Sie die Blackbox, indem Sie die Schraube lösen, tauschen Sie die Heizkabel aus und setzen sie alles wieder zusammen.Insgesamt halte ich dieses Gerät für großartig und habe bei der Verwendung keine Probleme festgestellt.Es ist ein klasse Gerät, das ich gerne empfehle und das meiner Meinung nach 5 Sterne verdient hat.Klare Empfehlung *****
