Punch Needle Mini Bundle by I HEART KITS - Includes Adjustable Punch Needle, Monk's Cloth and Instructions

I have never crocheted or knitted (I do sew) & the instructions + illustrations with this kit were exactly what I needed to get hooked on punch needle embroidery. They were clear & easy to understand and the products were a beautiful quality. I initially had to redo a first row because the yarn was coming out and the punch needle seemed “loose”- I discovered I did not lock the lever in place (the instructions clearly show where the “catch” is that will click the needle length into place.)Monks cloth is really forgiving (this one is wonderful quality) and I was able to redo a few other rows to try out different sized loops and stitches. I easily used electrical tape to tape the edges (it’s all I had at the moment) & I can’t wait to finish the edges when I get home.This was my first ever try at punch needle embroidery & I’m definitely hooked! I’m excited to try out the full kit from IHeartKits, as well as her first macramé kit.

Satisfied with this purchase. The monks cloth gets frayed so you have to tape it. Also need a embroidery frame or the needle won’t work properly.

Great value for the price! I like that the monk’s cloth has no grid lines and it is enough to start at keadt s 12x12 size project. The punch needle is versatile and I love that I can take only 1 with me on trips but have all different lengths I need. Well packaged with good instructions.

I had been dying to try punch needling after watching several mesmerizing videos. This needle is very high-quality and the instructions couldn’t be clearer. This is a great jump start for a beginner or just a beautiful needle if you’re more experienced.

I wanted to make mug rugs for my car’s coasters. I picked this kit over the others because the punch needle is adjustable which makes for more versatility in any projects I might want to do in the future. I have just one gripe… the punch needle has a very thick gauge so punching the monk’s cloth would make these big holes. If you’re a beginner and need to pull the yarn out and restart your project, you’ll have these gaping holes in your monk’s cloth. Not impossible to work with but just kind of annoying and difficult to make your designs precise.Overall, I like this kit…Just get some embroidery hoops, and you’re ready to start punch needling!

I did not receive the full kit. The punch needle and threader were missing. The only this I received was the monk’s cloth. The item was opened and looked it was used and returned. Please either refund me or send a new item because these items were not cheap and I feel scammed.
