Beautiful lightweight yarn.
This yarn is so beautiful. I have used it before to make amazing crochet scarves. The colors change so gradually and the sparkle thread is a lovely addition. The images have been true to the yarn colors for me. Yes, there are knots. The yarn is very lightweight, so the knots are easy to conceal. Many color-changing yarn has knots; it keeps the costs reasonable. A skein like this with no knots could cost 3 times as much or more. This yarn has a lovely drape, even with crochet stitches. It is not the softest yarn, but it is great for fashion accessories, like scarves or wraps. So beautiful. Lightweight, lace yarn. Label says yarn is categorized as a 1. The yarn is thread-like. You can split it, especially pulling the sparkle yarn separate. It is strong yarn. It is worth working with the splitting to get such incredible results.

Loved this yarn
I've never worked with yarn this thin and was a little sceptical about working with this. Just looked splitty to me. Was I wrong. I had no problems with it t all. No splitting at all, easy to frog and, no tangles that weren't of my own making. When I did get it tangled, it was easy to straighten out. There are knots where the color changed but it's single fiber changes, not the entire yarn changing. To get the color changes where I wanted, I had to remove very little yarn from the cake. I was afraid of running out when I got to the last row (I've never worked with color changing cakes either) but I had plenty to finish. Makes a really nice size shawl. Colors are beautiful. Will definitely be buying this yarn again if I ever need this type again.

Great yarn with a beautiful sparkle!
They had the wrong color in the picture that was matched to the color number I ordered. I thought I was getting the blue to orange. Imagine my shock when I got a predominantly green colorway. I decided to keep it. It was kind of a happy accident because one of my best friend's favorite color is green. So I gifted her the shawl I made with it. Overall, this is wonderful yarn. I would not call this a beginner yarn since it is not spun plies. It does make beautiful items with lots of sparkle! I would definitely recommend for a wedding shawl!

Excellent yarn for shawls
Excellent yarn for shawls, not to thin and not too heavy.

Works up beautifully!
This yarn is not for the faint of heart. I would say *not* a beginner-friendly yarn. The metallic thread that gives it its gorgeous shimmer splits away from the rest of the yarn making it difficult to pull through the loop unless your hook is turned just so. And heaven forbid you have to frog out to a mistake! If you were under the metallic thread instead catching the whole thread then it can pull into a knot that can only be cut out. (I learned this the hard way!) That being said, I love the way my project turned out! The ombre effect is perfect. The color shift is so subtle that it's hard to catch. It took me awhile to realize that they put in a flag/marker to denote that switch (see photo with purple background for example). The fabric is soft. The metallic thread does not make it scratchy or itchy. I switched back and forth between 2 skeins of this yarn to make a shawl that is large enough to wrap around my shoulders, down my arms and passed my waist.

Lovely soft yarn to work with.
Very soft finer than expected cotton yarn. Practiced crocheting a shawl, have not yet completed project. I'll be trying a knitted shawl psttern before I decide which suits.

Great yarn cake, goes a long way!
I used up 3/4 of the cake so far and happy with tge results. Very little waste so far which is great for a large cake like this. I love the colours and tge sparks makes it pure joy to crochet with.

Beautiful yarn
I love this yarn, colours are beautiful and the sparkle adds to it. Only thing to be aware of is frogging it repeatedly isn't a good idea as the sparkle thread does come loose somewhat
