Be forewarned, this is a split grip...meaning it wraps around the paddle handle. Nowhere in the item description was that mentioned. It is not a permanent slide on solution, like some expandable canoe and kayak paddles offer. I found it to move on the paddle and be more a nuisance than assistance.

The grips slid up and down the shaft of my kayak paddle constantly. I also couldn’t really seem to find the perfect spot for them, because, depending on stroke, there is a need to reposition the hands fairly frequently, so I wouldn’t consider taping them or securing them in a more permanent fashion. I moved them around freely as I paddled, but found I was putting way too much thought into a pair of paddle grips than I wanted to, considering I was outside on a beautiful, sunny day, playing on the water. Toward the end of the day, I’d given up on them completely and wasn’t using them, although they were still sliding around on my kayak paddle. When I reached the shore to disembark, however, one of them was missing, having apparently fallen off somewhere along its merry journey. I don’t generally rate a product as being completely worthless, unless it doesn’t do what it’s supposed to do at ALL, but this one was a real disappointment, and I’d have to say it was nearly non functional.

Why would these sink??? Both of mine came loose from the paddle, due to the split they definitely need taping. But when they came off they sank like rocks.. very disappointing as I enjoyed the contour of the grip very much.

Came in time for my trip but only have one & there are 2 paddles. Have not tried it yet but too late to order another for this run.

They really are nice and will be easy for my grandson to find---He loves the green and this is green for sure---:-) Seller is top notch---got them sent out to me very quickly and they came before they said I would get them---would recommend this seller---

I use them on my kayak paddle and they work great, easy to move but when they are pinched by my hsnds they are solid. Only problem is I tried them on my bicycle but the handlebar was too narrow so the grips slid around.

Added a little comfort, but slipped around as I used them. Actually had to think harder to paddle with them since I was always adjusting my hands to use them.Third time I used them I lost one grip as I threw my paddle to the sand when I beached my boat. Although I enjoy other products from this vendor, this one is not worth it.

I actually use this on my crutch. It really works well for extra padding for my hand, no slip and I can wash it with soap and water.Once my leg is well I will use it on my kayak paddle.
