I’ve used the usual suspects of boost pedals OCD, SD-1, ts9- od808, etc…Each have pros and cons, some match better with specific amps, but the BB preamp seems to have a more neutral frequency response and seems to work well with any amp I’ve used it with.Great pedal overall.

This pedal sits in the mix really well, responds to volume knob dynamics and works for maybe 80 percent of the songs I play, either as as dirty rhythm or lead. It really is a great and addictive sound.
