Q: Can the "vaseline" be cleaned off? I want to use it to level my 3D printer bed, and don't need oil spots on my bed surface.

Yes, the Vaseline can be cleaned off using any solvent, like gasoline or mineral spirits..per my husband.

Q: Purchased these because someone in the reviews said they were made in Germany, but mine clearly say made in China. Are these accurate in spec?

Only China Sells Stainless Steel that Rusts!!! Why would they apply an anti-rust lubricant to "Stainless Steel" lol!
