Are you, too, annoyed that Kreg shifted production to China?

Yes indeed I’m annoyed. Certainly changed my mind about Kreg!! What a shame, just another greed driven company. Why bother, just go out of business if you can’t manage your company. Take a look inside of your business structure and resolve the real problems of why Kreg is willing to toss their awesome reputation in the trash and move its manufacturing to CHINA!! Doesn’t anybody see what is happening and how we are struggling to produce what few products we still manufacture?????? Good riddance KREG

Can i put a 2 x 4 in this jig

The max thickness that can be used in the Jig is 1-1/2".

Do the storage containers come off?

Yes very easy to remove. As I don't use the Jig regularly I pack it all back into the original manufactures box for ease of storage

Are the drill guides from k4 compatible with 720 pro?

I am sorry to say the drill guides for the Kreg K4 are not compatible with the Kreg Jig 720 Pro.
