Kreg Pocket-Hole Jig 720PRO, Jig Only, 160 Screws, KPHJ720PRO

My first foray into pocket holes. Was between this and the massca. Saw advantages to both and my guess is that it makes no difference. Landed on the kreg. Very easy to set up. Very easy to use. Like the clamping system. For a beginner pocket holer (me), can’t go wrong, which is great. I find it not easy to drive the screws - bit doesn’t grab the screw head enough given tight space and angle. Although I have all kreg supplies my guess is that it would be similar regardless - just not sure why it looks so easy and isn’t. But this not a kreg problem I don’t think. One big knock is all the plastic. Yeah, metal would be nicer but I can’t see that there’s any negative functionally. The most important part to be metal (drill guide) is metal. I assume it will last - kreg stuff is generally good but I’ve only had this a few days so no idea. All in all, tho, I like this jig. And I like the small footprint with the option to add the wings

I am so glad I purchased this! The amount of time it saves compared to the manual clamp-style jig is insane. I love the portability while also feeling high-quality and sturdy. I would pay double what I did for this one and not be upset about it, it's that good. If you build shelves, cabinets, furniture and aren't using one, you're doing it wrong!

I am a long time Kreg pocket hole user. I used a K3 system for many years and recently upgrade to the 720 Pro. The Great: The main jig is super with many great features. The auto-adjustment is a huge time saver. The included workbench clamp is great. The dust collection is top notch. The onboard storage for the tools is very good. And the adjustment T-wrench for the depth stop collar is a very welcome addition. The OK: I find using the built-in gauge for setting the collar depth to be imprecise and clumsy. It works, but it really seems there could be a better way. I wish they had included some kind of onboard storage for the workbench clamp and the dust collection attachments. The Bad: I was really excited about the included extension wings but having used them I have to say they are not well designed. Overall they are cheap and flimsy, and the plastic connectors broke on one of the wings the second time I used it. The fold up design is a good idea, but impractical without a place to store the dust collection attachment. I plan to build a permanent workpiece to improve the extension concept. I would still recommend the 720, but I don't know if you need the PRO version or not.

This tool is absolutely amazing. I had it in my wishlist a long time and received a project request that using this tool was the best option for constructing. My only regret is that I didn't buy it instead of putting it in my wishlist and used it in so many past projects.

Pocket hole have there place, may make more soild joints when used with glue. One of the first things I used it for was the repair of a rotted window sill It made the job mush easier.

An upgrade from the basic Kreg jig. This speeds up the process of making pocket holes significantly. The dustport attachment makes for cleaner pocket holes and less mess. The on board attachment and compact design makes it perfect for my small workshop. The only downside is that it is made of plastic and feels like it could break easily if dropped.

Made of solid plastic so doesn't buckle or bend. the side storage is rubbish and to flimsy to connect but once mounted to a board should be of good use all measure setting are done from the back of the unit and with the supplied measing tool hex key combination

this is a fabulous tool and I have very happily used it for practicing my pocket holes; one issue with my item is that one of the 'wings' aka storage box keeps coming off despite my spending time ensuring it is on and clicks in place, but that is not dire, only a hassle for folding it up to store between uses.
