Sock Ons Clever Little Things That Keep Baby Socks On

These sock-ons have been a lifesaver for keeping baby socks on. They go right over regular socks and actually stay in place even with all the kicking and moving. Super simple but really effective, no more constantly losing socks.

I had never heard of these before, but got a pair at my baby shower. They have worked great! The 0-6 month size fit snugly at birth when my baby was 7 pounds and had feet so skinny no sock would stay on. They still fit at 6 months, but leave marks from being tight. So, I bought another pair here... this time, the 6-12 month size. I am just as impressed! No complaints with this product what-so-ever. This is by far, the most used gift I have gotten, and the most loved! Who wants to wrestle shoes onto floppy footed wiggly little babies only to have them somehow slip their foot right out? The 0-6 month size has lasted the whole 6 months, but in shoes, we have gone through 0, 1, 2, and 3's. Don't waste money on shoes for non-walkers when you can keep socks on with Sock-Ons. My baby has yet to even come close to pulling one of these off. My only regret is that I didn't know about these YEARS ago with my other kids.

I think sock ons are amazing! My son was always pulling or kicking off his socks, and it drove me nuts to constantly have to put them back on! Sock ons keep his socks in place all day! The only downside is they do look a little funny. You really only notice them up close, but don't be suprised if people ask you if your kid has foot braces :)

They do keep socks on pretty well. At 10 months, my baby can now pull her socks off even with these if she really wants to. This color looks nice with gray socks. I wish they didn't have the tags on the ankle. I cut them off so I could put them on starting with either end. I also wish they had those grippy spots on the bottom so that she could still wear them as she begins to walk. Also, people occasionally ask if something is wrong with her feet, since they look like they could be orthopedic devices. Finally, although I do quite like these, it is annoying to have to put yet another (if useful) item of clothing on a squirmy baby. I wish they were a sock/sock-on combination to use in place of socks.

Item matches description. These things are amazing! If you hate losing socks, these things are absolutely worth the money!

I saw these and couldn’t wait to try them on my 4 month old son. They do help keep the sock on for a bit but my son can get these off easily and then his socks come off defeating the purpose for these. Might help if your baby doesn’t wear shoes when you go out but keep in mind that hey don’t help much when the child is playing.

I cannot say enough great things about sock ons! Until we purchased these, my son pulled his socks off CONSTANTLY! I put these on over every pair of socks he wears and he has yet to pull the socks off! I am impressed :)

if there was a hall of fame for the 20 top baby gadgets i think this one would be on the top of the list. Before having kids i never imagined that socks and shoes on a baby would be an issue. But it is... It's winter, his feet get cold yet my baby is a hudini with socks, he would take them off in seconds since he was 2 months old. Then one would get lost and you end up with single mini socks and shoes. Nightmare. But not anymore, this is a simple product that really makes a difference in your everyday life. It is true that if the baby sleeps you may see that the sockons apply pressure on his foot and you should avoid putting him to sleep for the night with these on. But i believe it's ok for a short nap during daytime.

Wer kennt das nicht, man freut sich riesig über die ersten motorischen Handlungen des Nachwuchses, doch leider betreffen diese zumeist Kleidungsstücke die in Griffweite der kleinen Hände, und leicht zu mobilisieren sind. Also Socken. Durch dieses Verhaltensmuster ergeben sich mehrere Lösungsmöglichkeiten. 1) Man lässt es zu und das Kind liegt ohne Socken da, was im Sommer nicht so ein Problem darstellt, in der Übergangszeit/Winter dafür ein umso größeres 2) Man sieht sich nach Alternativen zu Socken um (Ganzkörperstrampler, Strumpfhosen), die allerdings allesamt im Sommer und Übergangszeit sowie in einer gut isolierten Umgebung zu warm sind, und überdies meist nicht sehr praktisch beim wickeln ( insbesondere Strumpfhosen) 3) man fixiert die Socken mit Sockenhaltern wie Sock ons Die sock ons sind aus elastischem Material in zwei größen erhältlich, das man wie eine Stützbinde über die Füße zieht, die Ferse auslässt und somit für das Kind zu einem deutlichen Mehraufwand beim Ausziehen der Socken werden. Ich sage bewusst Mehraufwand, weil auch die Sock Ons keinen 100% Ausziehschutz darstellen. Da die Sock Ons auch ziemlich stramm am Füß sitzen, würde ich sie nicht den ganzemn Tag drauflassen, denn am Abend sieht man (abhängig vom Ernährungszustandes des Kindes) kleine rote Streifen/Einschnürungen. Prinzipiell für Kleinkinder und besorgte Eltern also sehr gut geeignet, Aufgrund der Größe der Sock Ons ist es jedoch ratsam gleich zwei paare zu kaufen, da sie relativ schnell verloren gehen werden (spätesten nach dem ersten Waschgang)

Schade, dass ich diese praktischen Söckchenhalter erst beim zweiten Kind entdeckt habe. Sie sind einfach eine tolle Idee, halten Söckchen oder auch den Strampler dort, wo sie hingehören - am Fuß. In der richtigen Größe drückt auch nichts, das Material ist sehr angenehm. Der Preis ist natürlich nicht ganz ohne, aber zum Verschenken okay. Jedenfalls überrascht man damit frischgebackene Eltern, die so etwas noch nicht kennen. Nach dem Testen waren bisher alle Beschenkten genauso begeistert wie ich.

Tolle Erfindung die vermutlich jeder mit kleinen Kindern brauchen kann. Auch als Geschenk für junge Eltern toll geeignet, da man sie z.B. auch über zu große Strampler ziehen kann. Ich habe für unsere Tochter (6 Monate alt und gewichts- und größenmäßig genau im Schnitt) die Größe 6-12 Monate bestellt. Passt und hält schon ganz gut aber ist noch bisschen Platz zum rein wachsen. Ob es wirklich bis 12 Monate reicht wage ich aber zu bezweifeln. Bis dorthin wird es vermutlich schon etwas spannen.Wir werden auf jeden Fall auch die nächste Größe wieder holen. Einen Punkt Abzug weil das bestellte Grau definitiv nicht grau sondern tauben blau/Jeans blau ist (die blaue Färbung wurde mir auch von anderen Leuten bestätigt). Macht mir persönlich zwar nicht viel aus weil ich nicht so eine “Mädchen dürfen kein blau anziehen“-Mutti bin aber ist halt nicht wie beschrieben. Qualität passt auf jeden Fall aber sehr gut zum Preis und ist insgesamt empfehlenswert.
