HARDELL Mini Cordless Rotary Tool, 5-Speed 69pcs Kit for 3D Printer Sanding

I gotta say, this is the best purchase I've made in a while... Due to some physical issues I've been doing A LOT of shopping online. Most of the stuff is ok, not the best, but also not the worst (cuz I read product reviews). But let me tell you, this HARDELL Mini Cordless Rotary Tool is AMAZING!!! It's small enough to fit in my hand perfectly (I wear extra small size gloves), and allows me to have complete control no matter what the angle. It's sanding ability is excellent. And, between the variations in speed control & the amount of different bits that can be used, make this tool so versatile. Despite it's size, it feels like it's pretty sturdy. I think it's gonna last me quite a while. And the battery capacity is excellent. I will say, I feel there's only 1 minor design flaw. I wish the location of the power & speed buttons were swapped around though. While working with it, it did shut it off by accident because I hit the power button. But it only happened once, as I was more careful going forward... If anyone is debating whether this is a "good tool" or "worth the money", let me tell you IT IS, AND THEN SOME!!!

Easily one of the best tools I have used in my time crafting props as a cosplayer. I've had mine for over a year now and not only does it hold a charge well but it really does the job when it comes to sanding what need as well as adding minor detailing here and there

I purchased the HARDELL cordless rotary tool kit mainly for small 3D printing projects and fine detail work on parts, and honestly, it exceeded my expectations. It’s lightweight, comfortable to hold, and being cordless makes it much more convenient than wired tools. It has 5 speed settings that genuinely feel different from one another, allowing you to adjust depending on the material. I’ve used it for sanding, drilling plastic, and doing small engraving work, and it performs quite well for a cordless tool. The kit comes well equipped with many useful accessories and a sturdy carrying case that keeps everything organized. The battery lasts long enough for small projects and charges easily via USB, which is definitely a plus. As for improvements, I wouldn’t recommend it for heavy-duty or continuous work on thick metal, since it doesn’t have the power of a larger professional tool. However, for hobbies, crafts, modeling, electronics, 3D printing, or light home projects, it’s more than sufficient. Note: If you overload it or push it too hard, it simply shuts off. It’s not a major flaw; it’s more of a safety protection feature, but it’s something to keep in mind.

This is so much easier to use than a corded Dremel tool! It's so slender you can hold it like a pen. you don't have to hold it in your fist like a big Dremel tool. I wish I had bought this years ago. Of course, it's not going to be as powerful as a corded Dremel, but for fine detail work it's perfect. The bits are universally compatible, so I already have a bunch of Dremel bits I can use with this. It's also much quieter and smoother than my Dremel. Don't get me wrong, the full-size Dremel still has it's place, but 90% of the stuff I pulled out the Dremel for will now be done with this tool. It's much easier and more enjoyable to use. It's also safer, because I'll no longer be using a large over-powered tool to do things that this tool is perfectly capable of doing.

Little tool, big power! This has been a godsend in my crafting, and I'm thrilled with how many sanding heads you get. The light is amazing, it's easy to use, and I've been doing a LOT of drilling to make some adorable new keychains. The battery life is also insane, I haven't had to charge it since I got it! This is definitely a worthwhile investment, even if you only need it for casual use.

I picked this up for some small DIY projects around the house and it is a decent little tool for the price. The cordless design is very convenient because you do not have to worry about being near an outlet and the USB charging makes it easy to top off the battery anywhere. It is lightweight and easy to hold like a large pen which is great for detailed engraving or light polishing. However the power is definitely limited. Even on the highest of the five speed settings it tends to bog down or stall completely if you apply even a little bit of pressure. It works okay for soft wood or plastic but I would not recommend it for anything involving metal or harder materials. The battery life is also just average for me so you really have to plan on using it for quick 15 or 20 minute tasks rather than a long project. The accessory kit that comes with it is generous and gives you plenty of options to start with but the quality of the bits is not the best. Some of the sanding drums and polishing pads wear out almost immediately after one use. It is a nice starter set to figure out what you need but you will likely end up buying better quality replacement bits pretty quickly. Overall it is a fair tool for hobbyists and very light craft work but it feels more like a toy than a piece of shop equipment. If you just need something for occasional small repairs or delicate etching it will get the job done. If you need something for actual sanding or cutting you should probably look for a more powerful corded model instead.

This little tool is perfect! It’s definitely not as powerful as a full-size Dremel, but for crafting that that’s definitely an advantage. Variable speeds give you additional control if it’s nicely in your hand. It’s so nice. In fact I let my sister use it for a project and she ordered her own the same day. It’s got a good variety of accessories. I can’t speak on the durability since I haven’t had it that long, but it has been well used in the time that I have had it and it still seems to be holding up quite well. Clearly, I would definitely recommend this tool given that I already have recommended this tool.

I have several rotary tools (corded and cordless) and this one is the easiest to use and does a great job. I expected it might be under powered but was surprised at good power level. It is not a big heavy duty tool but it is becoming my go to rotary tools for 90% of jobs. It is great for drilling small holes in irregular surfaces. Two thumbs up!

Good, affordable alternative to the famed dremel BUT lacks torque.
