## Description

Product Description Specially designed to protect your mouthpiece, the Reserve mouthpiece patch is ideal for clarinetists and saxophonists of all ages and abilities. Our unique material adheres securely to the mouthpiece yet enables easy removal or transferal when needed; it will not leave residue. Also ideal for educational purposes, the Reserve mouthpiece patch prevents the teeth from sliding on the mouthpiece and can be a useful tool in promoting the correct development of embouchure and tone production, especially how much mouthpiece to take and the prevention of biting.Inspired by the most prized, vintage mouthpieces of the 1920s, the Reserve Mouthpiece harnesses modern technology, pioneered by D'Addario, to recreate the incomparable craftsmanship found in these legendary works of art. ## Questions & Answers

**Q: Do they fit Eb alto sax mouthpieces? What's the benefit to these?**
A: Yes, they fit alto sax mouthpieces. The benefits to these are they both cushion teeth when playing as well as protect the mouthpiece from damage from the teeth, thus prolonging its useful life.

**Q: What is the thickness? (.4 or .8 mm etc?)**
A: The black mouthpiece patch is 0.8mm thick and the clear mouthpiece patch is 0.35mm thick

**Q: How often should they be changed?**
A: When the patches are worn through, then change them. Depends on your usage.

**Q: do these fit Vandoren metal mouth pieces**
A: I have not used them on the Vandoren metal mouth piece but I suspect that it WILL fit just fine. It's slightly small on the hard rubber mouthpieces, and metal mouthpieces are usually narrower than the hard rubber, so it will probably work. They stick beautifully and it makes a huge difference in playing comfort.
