AMEIQ Car Trash Can, Plastic Garbage Bin, Absolutely Best Waste Rubbish Litter Container for Vehicle Office Study Room (Upgraded Adhesive)

Put the velcro on in the evening and let it sit over night before attaching the garbage can. Seems to hold fine, no complaints. It's not a huge trash can, but I was looking for something that wouldn't take up a bunch of space. Just to throw some wrappers or tissue in. I love that it doesn't have any ugly straps. Matches the interior of my car, looks like it came with it! Easy to remove and dump the garbage in the can at the gas pump.

Nice product for trash in a Lexus RX, but unfortunately the darned adhesive (on the back of the Velcro) simply will not hold. Therefore, the container finds itself laying sideways in the passenger foot area next to the shift console.I tried cleaning the surface to which it is applied with alcohol; and then acetone (nail polish remover) - still it will not stick. This is the only flaw - otherwise, nice size, nice application. Would be a really nice product, if only it would stick.

Someone finally made a garbage can for a truck. I can’t tell you how much I love this.It was easy to install and it stays in place without rattling & making noise.I’m not kidding, I’ve tried about 50 different things to have a place to put garbage in my truck and this one nails it.Note: Make sure you let the Velcro sit for 24 hours stuck to wherever you’re going to put it before you add the garbage can.

It's just the right size. However it falls off. The adhesive is garbage (pun intended). I stuck the strip on the day before without hanging the basket like everyone recommended. I placed the bucket on the following day and by late morning the basket fell off. I installed it next to my right leg so my leg is right up against it. However I never had a chance to see if it's okay because again the bucket fell off. The adhesive does not stick to anything with texture.

Adhesive doesn't hold the garbage can. If you live where it's at all warm outside, don't buy this. Every day it falls off. Now the adhesive is a gooey mess in my car but can't use the garbage can :-(

I like the size and shape of this container better than any of the other car trash containers I have seen. I like that it is solid and stays open. I put it on the side of the passenger side of the center console so it is just forward of their knees and it seems convenient there. I can still reach while driving and passengers can use it tool Although I bought it for trash it has provided a convenient spot for sunglasses and passenger's cell phone. The attachment seems pretty secure. There was an extra piece with it that I never did figure out what it was for.

While the product itself is exactly what I was hoping for, I was extremely disappointed in the adhesive strip for the velcro that allows the trash can to be attached to the side of my car compartment. I tried for several days to use the product attached to the side console of my car, but it constantly kept falling to the floor. I finally had to buy my own super strength velcro strips just to use the correct strip on my compartment side in order for the trash can to stick properly. It has not fallen to the floor since. Other than this disappointment, I am satisfied with the trash can. It is small enough for my vehicle to collect my trash and is easy enough to remove in order to empty it.

Everything about this little trash bin is perfect for my car. The reason for 3 stars is the adhesive on the velcro fails in hot weather. I cleaned the plastic area in the car where bin was to placed with alcohol. I attached the bin as per the directions. The car sat unused in a cool garage overnight. I drove the car to work the next day the car was parked in a sunny area. When I can out for lunch 4 hours later the bin had fallen off and the velcro strip came with it. I have purchased extra strength velcro strips hopefully it will hold the bin to the plastic in the car during hot weather temps.

Bought in June 2019 so this is a long term review.We needed something to solve an issue I think most people have in their cars ( especially if you have kids ) and that is where to put little tidbits of garbage that always happen on the road where ever. I'm not fond of having a fast food bag underneath the seat for garbage ! It needed to be close, easily accessible and sturdy but also look good. I didn't find anything I liked at the typical car stores around here as most things were majorly over-priced so I searched on Amazon and found this.Where we needed it to be placed was in the passenger foot well on the left side, this area was perfect for this item as it was close but yet out of the way. The included industrial velcro strips did the job great and holds well to this day.The size of this is 8 inches long, 7 inches tall and the 3.5 inches wide. I love numbers so I measure most things in some way or another so yes I did measure holding capacity as well and it is 1.8 fluid liters. I would never recommend to have open liquid inside in car but at least it can give you an idea of overall storage volume as it's hard to gauge by the sellers description. The plastic is thick and can take a beating especially since it's in the foot well area for us.I can see this being used for storage needs inside the home as well. Multipurpose...if you need a crayon bucket for a kid or a container for receipts or a storage space for almost anything else you can think of.I wholeheartedly recommend this to anyone who needs a convenient storage space in their vehicle as I’ve found nothing wrong with this item.👍👍👍 I hope you found this review helpful, I try hard to make reviews as such with facts. The actual bin itself is a great size. Large enough to hold quite a bit of garbage but small enough that it doesnt intrude on passengers legs/feet.However the main reason I purchased this one was becuase it had the sticky velcro strips. This way I could stick it to a side, more options on placement was important to me. However after only having this in my car for a little over a week, the strip has already came off. This is not due to weight of garbage in the bin. This was disappointing becuase I was not expecting to have to use the second strip so soon and expect this one to only last a week.Long story short: if you dont need the velcro, great buy. If you do, look somewhere else as the velcro is not sticky enough

To make the attached velcro strip adhere to the (provided) mating velcro strip placed on the side of the console of my wife's Subaru Crosstrek, I had to use a heat gun to soften the plastic of the this garbage bin's mounting bracket in order to bend it to the right angle.Otherwise is satisfactory, and is only bin I could find with the right shape/size for this application.

Comes with more than enough velcro fasteners to fit many places in the car. I fastened it to the back of the console (middle of the back seat) and it's perfect. It looks like part of the car! Extremely easy to clean as well.

I like it in my front seat coz small garbage is easy to drop it in the bin and easy to clean just put a little garbage bag. I don't like it coz it does not stick properly or i don’t have more space for it, but i like it.
