This sander is a great cost value. Tried it against a brand new danabrade. It was more noisy and heaver and speed control does not work.But over all 2 out of 3 employees picked this cheap sander to use.It was 210 dollars cheaper then the danabrade.We will have to see how it holds up in the long run. UpdateSander completely feel apart.Less then a year. Can't rebuild it.

The speed control doesn't work. It goes full blast which is just a little too fast sometimes. Yes, you can somewhat try to position your hand so it doesn't depress the paddle so much and control the speed that way, but it does have a speed control so you should be able to use that. I ordered one and the speed control didn't work, Amazon replaced it for free with another one, but that one didn't work either so I'm returning that one also. Besides that it seemed to work fine.

This is a light weight orbital sander that seems to hold up well. We use them sanding hardwood for wood range hoods for the kitchen. Its smooth and sands great. just don't drop them!

I work in aviation and need this to make a nice looking finish on the metal (aluminum) after I do a blend out of corrosion on a skin or wing plank it's great for my travel tool box because it's 5 inches this thing is surprisingly quiet and runs nice and smooth

I used this sander to do both wet and dry sanding operations, and I was pleasantly surprised at the ease of use and fast curling. I spent 12 hours over 2 days using this sander, wet sanding the bottom of my boat. I sanded the bottom paint off, along with the 40-grit swirl marks to a polished finish. I had no issue with the lower air volume from my single-stage 2 HP compressor (don't know what the CFM is.) I think this sander is a great value.Update: I now have over 150 hours on this sander, and it works great.

Works well after ~100+ hours of use. Only complaint is its loud but thats a personal opinion. Feels great.

I have carpal tunnel pretty bad and I have to use power tools for my job so I am always looking for tools that have less vibration and this sander is great. I actually bought one of these for my husband and I was so impressed with it I decided to get myself one too. It doesn't vibrate like you might expect for a lower priced sander it is very smooth.

I work professionally in automotive refinishing. I put it thorough it's paces everyday. I bought it to compare to the expensive one off the tool truck you pay $200 or more for. It actual exceeded my expectations. I am still testing it everyday to see if I have to break out my expensive tool truck one.
