Did not work on two or 4 bulb fixtures.Works great on single bulb fixtures.
Excellent brightness and easy to install. The bulbs worked great the first time itself when single T8 fixtures were replaced with these LEDs. Had issues with multi bulb fixtures (2 or 4), weather you replaced one or all of them on the fixture. Multi bulb fixtures would not light on with these. Advise buyers to read the specifications of the ballast that are supported for these bulbs before buying them. Still 5 stars because of the quality of the product and its luminosity levels.

Well Satisfied With This Product
If you can change a fluorescent tube, you can install this product. No messing around with ballasts and sockets, just remove the old tubes and replace them with these. I have ordered and installed 12 of these tubes, There were no out of box failures - 100% good. The product is well made and packaged to protect the tube during delivery. The 4000K tube gives a very nice white output for a workshop. Could be too white for some interior applications. Equal to our higher output than new fluorescent tubes and much brighter than aging fluorescents. There is some slight variation in output from side by side tubes but you have to be looking for it and fluorescent tubes are worse. What was amazing is these tubes worked where new fluorescent tubes would not. I suspect 20 year old ballast not up to starting the fluorescent tubes. Hopefully these well perform much better in the unheated garage in the winter where the fluorecent tubes struggled to come on. This is a slight delay in starting but so did the fluorescents. Some flicker on start up but simply cycling the switch clears it up. This is likely a ballast issue not the tube.Longer life, lower operating costs, improved low temperature performance, simple installation and no mercury - LEDs are a no brainer.

JUNK
DO NOT BUY THESE LED tube lights ! I bought a carton of six, needed to replace 1 fluorescent tube and went through five until I found one that would work. Buy from ANYONE else, there's NO QC when 4 (maybe 5) out of six don't work.UPDATE: Getting a refund on led tubes that didn't work. Fast and fair.

okay but not great
touted as over 50000 hours of life but in 6 months we have replaced 2 as they start to "strobe" (fast flash) if they were cheaper I would expect a percentage of failure but these are not cheap bulbs.

Three Stars
Does as stated--no ballast change out. Not as much light [lumens] as others I have used.

Easy install. Packing was double boxed to protect bulbs
Exactly what I wanted. Easy install. Packing was double boxed to protect bulbs. Bright lights and I expect lower utility bills. These are placed in a daycare center. Replaced T12 bulbs so I had to remove the ballast and rewire the end terminals. It took me a about 45 min per fixture. I only used 2 bulbs per fixture because it seemed as bright as 4 of the T12 bulbs I replaced. Ordered 18 more today.

Nice unit once installed, but I had to rewire my fixtures
Once I got it installed and working, the product is very nice. Bright light, no hum or flicker, and I don't expect to have to replace it in a few years like a fluorescent tube. However, the "no rewiring needed" wasn't true in my case. All 3 of my inexpensive shop light dual T12 units required rewiring. This isn't a big deal if you're comfortable with basic electrical work, but it's fussy work with an older fixture trying to keep all the wires in place while taking a cap off (and more fussing getting it back together). If you need to hire an electrician, you might as well just buy a new LED fixture. (I also tested one of the tubes in an indoor dual T12 unit, and it worked without rewiring there.) Mesa in Customer Service was very helpful figuring out what I needed to do.

Excellent Lights
While I had some initial issues with two of the tubes, the people at Shine Glory Lighting were fantastic and replaced both tubes without question. I removed all the old ballast before installation and I really love the super bright white light in my garage. Definitely a huge improvement over the old fluorescent tubes and hopefully they will last for years before they need replacement. No more flickering. No more ballast to replace. What's not to love?
