Does the job.
Had a lot of type C converters with USB etc, everytime I had to plug out and plug them back in whenever I woke my laptop from asleep. This one as soon as I started using it just works like charm. Using it for my second monitor on a laptop. Please don't waste your money on UGREEN or ORICO or anyone else if running a second monitor is your purpose.

Good solid cable. Have been using this now for some time and there is no sign of any wear and tear. Use from a macbook pro to connect to and HDMI on my monitor and TV and works fine with both.

I ordered this when one of the cables in the back of my Mac decided to leave the connector in the computer when I pulled it out. It was the cable I used to connect to my 27" monitor, so I was stuck without it. The Vention product arrived the next day and worked immediately. It looks a lot more solidly constructed than the one I had before.
