Does NOT support LiFePO4
Contrary to the advertising and even the manual, this charger DOES NOT support LiFePO4 batteries. There is no setting on the actual inverter for LiFePO4 - and the manual just tells you to set it to the lead acid profile, which is incorrect. This charger does not run a proper CC/CV lithium charging profile in the lead acid setting. It starts to fold back the current quite a bit before the charging voltage is reached, which is the wrong way to charge lithium batteries and will shorten their cycle life over time (albeit slightly, but LiFePO4 batteries are expensive). Also the charger in the 1500W version is only 40A, not 50A as stated in the advertising and the manual. I bought this unit for the UL458 listing because it's going in my travel trailer. It's built like a tank and it powers everything I need it to (I basically got it so I could run my coffee maker while boondocking). I have it paired with an AIMS 30A solar controller and 400W worth of panels on the roof.

Update: Huge POS. Breaker pops at the slightest load when plugged into shore power.
When plugged into shore power, which is most of the time, it allows only 15a output. This is way too little for this size inverter. It means the breaker pops at the slightest load and I have to go outside again and again to reset the breaker on the unit. It does charge and invert fine. Its UL458 compliant. It separates neutral and ground when plugged into shore power, so you can plug RV into GFI outlet. outlets. My old Freedom 1500 handled the loads in the motorhome quite easily. Never popped a breaker when plugged into shore power. Small Microwave, TV, refrig and some outlets. No problem. The AIMS 2000 popped breakers as soon as we turned on the microwave. So, obviously the AIMS 1500 is somehow lesser than the Freedom 1500. And this was on PASSTHRU, NOT on INVERTING. There is absolutely no reason for the AIMS to prematurely pop a breaker on passthru at all, let alone at too low a power draw. It happened on the AIMS 1500, so we returned it and bought the AIMS 2000 instead. It is doing the same thing. Huge inverter for 15a passthru and nearly worthless as a result.
