100 Easy-to-Grow Native Plants for Canadian Gardens Paperback – August 12, 2017

I’m reading up on native plants for gardens.This one, together with “A Garden for the Rusty-Patched Bumblebee: Creating Habitat for Native Pollinators: Ontario and Great Lakes Edition” look to be all I will need to create a garden beneficial to pollinators in my region.Can’t wait to see more butterflies and bumblebees!

The book was even better than I expected and surprisingly, it arrived nearly a whole week before the estimation told me it would.... it arrived on Dec 23 instead of Dec 31st so I got to give it to my mom for Christmas after all! She loves the book and was just as surprised as me that it came so quickly!

I would have preferred that the photo references to be actual photos rather than drawings. Great for beginners looking for knowledge. I would not be not confident enough to go forage based on the drawings.

My daughter started a landscaping design business, that specializes in native species of plants for Canada, that are wildlife friendly. She refers to this book often, in planning her designs. Great value for identifying native plants, that are tolerant of our climate.
