Q: I don't want to use this for "face paint" but regular makeup, foundation, powder foundation, blush, eyeshadow, etc.. Will this work well with that?

Hi Jennifer. I use mine for beauty makeup. It sounds like you're attempting to do the same thing. It has worked fine for me. I also have tried theatrical paints and aquacolor and this "head" has been very useful. Regular makeup remover works well to clean it. I would stay away from any oily remover (usually contains isopropyl myristate) as they may prevent makeup from adhering to it afterwards. Good Luck!

Yes, that's what it's designed for.

Q: What is the size of this head. Is it life sized?

Yes. Pretty close to an ideal sized head.It's hollow. I love it. Haven't tried using it for molds yet but make up doesn't come off well.

Q: What can i use to clean it?

I haven't cleaned mine yet. But I believe alcohol. Check the reviews, several people are saying what you can clean it with. I just haven't tried it yet
