Die Goaycer Bananenstecker machen insgesamt einen sehr guten Eindruck und sind eine praktische Lösung, wenn man Lautsprecherkabel sauber und ordentlich anschließen möchte. Gerade bei Verstärkern, AV-Receivern oder Lautsprechern ist es deutlich angenehmer, mit fertigen Steckverbindungen zu arbeiten, statt jedes Mal blanke Kabelenden direkt in die Klemmen zu fummeln. Positiv ist vor allem, dass direkt 12 Stück im Set enthalten sind. Mit 6 roten und 6 schwarzen Steckern kann man mehrere Lautsprecherleitungen sauber vorbereiten und Plus sowie Minus direkt gut unterscheiden. Das sorgt nicht nur für mehr Ordnung, sondern reduziert auch die Gefahr, beim Anschließen etwas zu verwechseln. Die Verarbeitung wirkt ordentlich. Die Stecker machen einen stabilen Eindruck, lassen sich gut handhaben und sitzen bei normaler Nutzung sauber in den passenden Anschlüssen. Die Doppelschrauben-Befestigung gefällt mir ebenfalls gut, weil das Lautsprecherkabel dadurch vernünftig fixiert werden kann. Wenn man das Kabel sauber abisoliert und ordentlich einsetzt, bekommt man eine stabile Verbindung hin. Auch optisch wirken die Stecker deutlich sauberer als lose Kabelenden. Gerade bei einer HiFi- oder Heimkinoanlage macht das am Ende einen besseren Eindruck. Außerdem ist es praktisch, wenn man Geräte später einmal umstellen, reinigen oder neu verkabeln möchte. Dann kann man die Kabel einfach abziehen und wieder einstecken, ohne jedes Mal neu zu schrauben. Natürlich sollte man vorher prüfen, ob die eigenen Geräte 4-mm-Bananenstecker unterstützen. Wenn das passt, ist das Set aus meiner Sicht sehr brauchbar. Es ist kein unnötiger Luxus, sondern einfach eine saubere und praktische Verbesserung der Lautsprecherverkabelung. Insgesamt bin ich zufrieden. Die Stecker sind gut nutzbar, ordentlich verarbeitet und machen die Verkabelung deutlich aufgeräumter.

So daughter's cat decided she wants to gnaw on my speaker cables. Ugh. (Yes. Cat remains unharmed by me or voltage.) So redoing everything to include the connectors. These banana plugs are great! They work perfectly with my Denon and Klipsch stereo system. The 4mm size is standard fare for most equipment that accept banana plug connections. Perfectly comparable with my gear. Easy to use. Color coded. Sharp looking. And they just feel a lot more solid than the connectors I had before. Previous plugs were the kind ya run the stripped wire up through, then gotta fan them out around the center and push the strands down over teeth, then screw on the plug. I dunno. Just didn't like that internal connection. The connector just felt loosey goosey. These connect to wire well (14G this go around for me). They connect to my stuff securely. It was a great purchase. HINTS: - A wire stripper tool is awesome to have if doing a lot of wires. - Box says strip 14mm of wire before attaching plug. I did 14. The screw closest to the insertion point was biting insulation. Had my old wire to experiment with. Seems like 18mm was perfect. With wire inserted fully, the screw bit just past the start of the insulation. - It took extra time, but I took that particular screw all the way out when connecting the plugs to the wires, juuuust to make sure the screw was biting wire and not insulation. Stripped to 18mm, I could see the insulation juuuust outside the screw hole. Perfect! Very happy with these. Wish I started with them. Hope this review helps ya decide which banana plugs to go with.
