High quality and durable bag.
I was so glad to find this bag for this price. We use several of them at my workplace as emergency response bags (go-bags), and our department leadership also uses them for go-bags + transporting their items to/from work. The bag came in a timely manner (actually a day early, so that was great!), and is just absolutely great. I use it to bring my computer to and from work, but also have various medical supplies in the bag in the event of an emergency.I'm in the Chicago area, and we've had some pretty nasty weather lately. Because of that, I made sure that my bag was fully loaded and ready to go in the event of an emergency. I managed to fit various medical supplies (everything from bandages to 2 tourniquets), spare toiletries, extra chargers, a small notebook, pens, emergency glowsticks, and some other related supplies. On top of that, I was able to fit an emergency blanket in the hydration pocket. I also had spare clothing, my laptop + charger, and a pair of shoes in the main/largest pouch. This bag is GREAT and I can tell that it will hold up well over time! There is no shortage of storage space in it, giving you plenty of room to store your items the way you feel is best. Additionally, the velcro spots on the front of the bag are great because I was able to put our department's patch on the front/square velcro spot, and I'm going to get a rectangular patch that has my last name on it to fit on the front/rectangular velcro spot.I would absolutely buy this bag again! And honestly, I might! Wouldn't hurt to have a separate go-bag for my home.

Worth it! A huge bargain!!
Blown away by the quality of this bag. Yes, this is a real review. Yes, I purchased this on my own...no paid reviews etc. I got this as a field pack for carrying front tools and field guides I bring looking for wild edible plants and mushrooms. I had originally specd out the 5.11 rush hours 12 since I have their rush 72....way to big for my needs but great for traveling. But I really couldn’t think about spending this much on a bag. This TLO Outdoors bag is awesome. I was concerned that zippers and overall stitching were going to be a problem like other cheaper bags on AZ but I was wrong. The quality and fit is excellent. Zippers seem strong and the buckles seem high quality too. I’ll post an update on a few months. BUY THIS BAG!

Astounding Quality At This Price Point
I see the word amazing used a lot for reviews on Amazon, this pack, at this price is beyond amazing. I bought this pack to EDC some essentials and had been using, first, the 511 covert, and then the Maxpedition Pygmy Falcon II. Both are great packs at twice the price, but were either just too big, or did not quite have the organization I wanted. I gave this pack a chance based on the price and the fact that it seemed to mirror the layout of some other 12 hour packs that were way more money. I am sincerely glad I did.The material is robust, and as others have noted, the stitching is spot on. There some very nice touches, such as the overlaps that keep water out of the zippers and the smaller top access compartments, one of them soft lined. The bottom is flat and level, which means- this pack stands up on its own even when empty... a HUGE plus in my book. There is waterproof lining inside and minor splashes have not been an issue, though I have yet to get caught up in some serious rain. Still, as it compares to other packs.. I don't think this will be any issues. It's not perfect. I miss the built in water pockets on the side, but I remedied that with a molle add on water bottle holder and that's worked great, so no problem. It is stiff as hell, and as others have noted, the zippers are a bear at the corners, but I think it will break in and be fine. The straps are heavy duty, but what I would call lightly padded... think Swiss Gear pack level padding. If you're into the whole "grey bag" scene, this may not be the pack of choice either, but if you look like a typical dad.. like me, then who cares. I will say this, there is not one shred of a name on this bag, it is as plain-Jane as can be.I chose the word astounding because it really has to be seen to appreciate how well built it really is; I have all the name brand bags from Chrome, Maxped, 511, etc.. and this thing is on that level or above.... easily, and at a fraction of the cost. You could get both the 24 and 12 hour version of this for the cost of less than one of the other bags. I am going to beat the crap out of this thing, and not care one bit... and I bet this pack won't either... do yourself a favor and get this pack first, you will be VERY glad you did.

Good for a day in the woods
This pack is a good size for being outdoors for the most of the day. It is comfortable to wear, easy on and off, with good construction. The hydration section holds a 2-3L bag which I chose to fill to 1L. Plenty of storage and I easily attached a shooting mat. The separate eyeglass pouch is lined so as not to mar the surface of shooting glasses. This saves on carrying a separate glass pouch for my different color lens. I was also able to feed strips of blaze orange through the loops to help keep me in the proper safety range for blaze orange coverage during deer season. There are molle clips of varying design and length which I also purchased, these work well with the system on this bag. The various items I have for field dressing and deer-dragging fit comfortably in the larger inner compartment. If I were to do some day hiking this would again be a good size for packing an expanded lunch menu and a compact camping stove. This would be too small if one planned on a night or two in the woods, but is good for being outdoors for the better part of a day.I'm overall satisfied with the purchase.
