This purple MacBook Retina 12-inch case is exactly as described! Soft to the touch but not clingy like silicone. I installed the case easily and just love the clean lines without any bulk added to my laptop. Also, the black little footies on the bottom of my laptop are finally safe! Those little footies were the first things to get lost on my old 2010 MacBook Pro.The keyboard skin was a nice add-on and although I didn't plan on using it—I prefer the tactile feel of the bare keys instead—it's very comfortable to use. I though the keyboard skin would slide around or move during use, but it's stays put as I type and doesn't impede my typing, so it's a keeper too. I could take it or leave it, though.Overall, I love the case and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking to easily dress up their MacBook without fussing with vinyl skins. I may get this case in other colors too!

There's only so thin laptops can get before cases become essentially fragile, one molecule thick layers of plastic. This case is very thin, and adds very little to an already ridiculously slim Macbook. It has a slightly rubbery feel which makes it less slippery than others. That said, it is very, very thin, and very, very fragile.A careful adult may get 6+ months of service from this, but if you are in a household with kids, good luck. My wife's case is already cracked in a few places. To its credit, it stayed in place, but for how much longer? We're moving on, hunting for a new case.

Nice and very thin. This thing fits the MacBook perfectly. I love how thin it is and the simple protection it offers. I leave this on all the time, but I put the MacBook in the nice felt cover (with pouch) I got at Amazon when it's not in use. My fist one developed small fracture -looking lines in the plastic after a few weeks but the Ruban customer service was very responsive and sent me a replacement right away. I don't use the keyboard cover when I'm going to do a lot of typing because it does change the feel of the keys. Looks great though!

This case is very nice and has a decent fit,. I noticed a notch on the bottom case does not exactly clip onto the surface. It's hard to tell if this would cause a problem. However, I don't take my computer around town.I mostly keep it on my desk. The inside cover for the keyboard was a bonus to find. It really must be good for the keyboard and I wish I used one with my other case. Overall I would recommend for beauty and a good value

I literally had to tape it to use it because it breaks so easily. I’ve had no issues with the bottom part of the case but the top part is soooooo bad. I even got a replacement because the first top part was just completely broken. Waste of money and time.

Package clearly states it is for a 12 inch Macbook, reality clearly states that it is now. Cover is about 1/2 inch too wide to fit on my 12 inch Macbook. Keyboard cover fits, but I could care less about that, I was just trying to replace an older laptop cover that has cracked from use.

I've had this cover for about a week, and only used it for a few days when the coating started to wear off. I noticed it on one key at first, and now it's affecting nearly a dozen. Thankfully it doesn't rub off on your hands, as best I can tell anyway. Suppose this item is fine for occasional use, but if you're using your keyboard for daily work emails, etc. you may want to look elsewhere. Proceed with caution.

I love this ruban computer cover for my mac. Easy install and fits perfectly for my 12 inch mac air. They also included a cover for my keys which is likewise fantastic since it gives my keys a lift and I make less errors typing now. Can't recommend enough
