Great purchase. I give my dogs salmon pills every day because I’m a raw feeder but really anyone should be giving their dogs these because they’re a great source of omega-3.

I used this product for my dogs for years, but changed to another brand and type of fish oil when it was not available for a while. Their coats and skin suffered. I have started using this again- they love it, the size of the capsule is appropriate for dogs in the 15-20 lb. range, and I feel that their coats are getting softer and I believe they are shedding less. All good.

Although the product is advertised as also being for cats. It is not. It is so hard a cat could never ingest the lquid. And trying to punture the capsule and squeeze out the liquid is also not successful. The hardness of the capsule requires a pretty strong pucnture. The amount of liquid that then comes out is very small. Amazon would not refund my money for the purchase since I spoiled one capsule in trying to extract the liquid.

I gave it a 3 because my Katie does not like them. She would have gave them a big fat zero because she is hard to give pills to and she bit into it and it was nasty!! Why can't they make it tasty or so small it's easy to hide in treats, and I mean really tiny. Or the very least make it in caplet form so I can cut it little like I do her Benadryl. Yes, that's right, as small as a Benadryl is, I still have to use a pill cutter and cut it into 8 pieces. She's a rescued 16 year old Shih Tzu I adopted that spent the first 9 years of her life at a puppy mill, kept in a wire cage and used only for breeding. So you can imagine the issues this sweet baby had. I promised her remaining years would be as stress free and loving as I could make it, and that includes giving her any pills that she will benefit from as stress free, not to mention tasty, as I possibly can. I don't like to say she's a picky eater, but she is very selective.

I bought these for my 9 year old dog who is starting to have joint pains and an extremely itchy coat. I have been giving him 2 capsules a day since he's only 8lbs. He will eat these without any issues, actually enjoys the taste so I have been giving them to him like treats. It's too soon to notice any real difference with him also recently having a cortisone shot and taking prednisone prescribed by the vet. I will update my review once we are out of the prescriptions. My only complaint so far is that the bottle is extremely large compared to the pills inside. It makes it look like you aren't getting the full supply of pills or they are wasting a lot of plastic to manufacture these. On a side note, I tried giving these to both my other larger dog and cat; neither of them will willingly eat them so it may not be as easy to feed these to all animals as it is as my 9yo dog.

I have seen a difference for the better in my puppies skin since starting NuLife Omega-3 in June 2016. He is a year old rescue we adopted in April 2016. When he came to us it seemed he was scratching and biting himself quite a bit so we quickly asked the Vet what we should use to help. We gave him Benadryl to start but didn't want to use that on a regular basis. The Vet recommended Apoquil and that helped immediately. Since that is a prescription and very expensive I wanted to find something that would be a healthier solution and much more affordable. I am very pleased to say we are at a week now without Apoquil and just using the NuLife Omega 3 twice a day with meals. He is doing very good and hopefully will no longer need the Apoquil.

Makes your dog's coat shiny and soft, easy to give as they are small.

If you are used to the standard units of measurement, then it is easily to be misled as it’s showing 0.6cm (6mm) in the photo. However, in the fine print, it mentioned the measurement is 0.6 INCHES. The size of 6mm is reasonable for cat, but 0.6 inches is too big for most of cats. And I was thinking if the photo is showing the true measurement, then it might be the unit in the fine print is wrong. But, it turned out that the fine print is actually correct, and the photo is wrong.
